Please enjoy this guided hypnotherapy to calm your anxiety by accessing your subconscious mind. This is where deeply ingrained beliefs and patterns of thought and behaviour are stored. By inducing deep relaxation and heightened suggestibility, guided hypnotherapy can help you access your subconscious mind. It can also reprogram negative thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to anxiety. During this guided hypnotherapy session, calming language and imagery will guide you into a relaxed state. These visualization techniques will enable you to imagine a peaceful and calming scene, such as a beach or lake. This can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which counteracts the "fight or flight" response triggered by anxiety. Through repeated hypnotherapy sessions, you can learn to access this relaxed state on your own and develop new coping mechanisms for managing your anxiety. You can identify and address any underlying emotional or psychological factors that may contribute to your anxiety. Audice Nasser, Ph.D., is a Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapist (C.Hyp™), a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt) member, and a Regression Therapist registered with The International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA), The International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT), The International Alliance of Professional Hypnotists (IAPH), and the National Guild of Hypnotists. Self-Brainspotting is a form of psychotherapy that uses eye movements to access the deeper parts of the brain where negative emotions and traumatic memories are stored. This technique was developed by Dr. David Grand and is used to manage emotions such as anxiety, stress, and trauma. Practicing Self Brainspotting at home can be a very effective way to release negative emotions and improve your overall mental well-being.  The first step in practicing Self-Brainspotting is to identify the negative emotion or memory you want to work on. Once you've identified the emotion, you can use a pointer or your finger to find your "spot," which is the point in your visual field where you feel the emotion most strongly. Then, you can begin the Brainspotting process by focusing on the emotion or memory while simultaneously moving your eyes back and forth across your visual field. As you focus on the emotion or memory and move your eyes back and forth, you may notice a range of physical sensations and emotions. This is perfectly normal and a sign that Brainspotting is workings. As you continue to focus on the emotion and move your eyes, you may feel the intensity of the emotion decrease, and you may even feel a sense of relief or release.  Self Brainspotting has many benefits. By working through negative emotions and memories, you can reduce stress and anxiety, improve your mood, and increase your overall well-being. Self-Brainspotting can also help you develop a greater sense of self-awareness and understanding, which can be incredibly empowering. This technique can be done anywhere, at any time, making it a convenient and accessible tool for managing your mental health. The concept of brain lateralization in psychology describes the relationship between right-brain function and left-brain function. Neuropsychologist Roger Sperry developed the concept after winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 1981. Sperry demonstrated that the right and left sides of the brain are responsible for different types of thinking. It is possible to alter suggestibility through hypnotherapy or ideomotor desensitization, but we are prone to returning to literal thinking in everyday life. Individuals who tend to think in the left brain and those whose daily lives require a left-brained presence have found it highly effective long-term to engage in integrative right hemisphere brainwave activity, daily meditation and self-hypnosis, which stimulate the integration of right hemisphere brainwaves. This audio contains monaural beats that synchronize the left and right hemispheres. As a result, the midbrain becomes activated, increasing consciousness and awareness. Balancing the right and left brain can improve your overall cognitive function, allowing you to achieve your goals more easily and live a more fulfilling life. Balancing the right and left brain has several advantages: Enhanced creativity: The right brain is responsible for creativity, imagination, and intuition. When it is balanced with the left brain, it can enhance your ability to think creatively and come up with new ideas. Improved problem-solving skills: The left brain is responsible for logical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving. When it is balanced with the right brain, it can improve your ability to solve problems by helping you see things from different perspectives and think outside the box. Better decision-making: By balancing the right and left brain, you can improve your decision-making skills by considering your logical reasoning and intuitive sense. Increased productivity: By tapping into the full potential of both the right and left brain, you can increase your productivity by focusing on details while maintaining a big-picture perspective. Reduced stress and anxiety: Balancing the right and left brain can also help reduce stress and anxiety by allowing you to approach challenges more calmly.
