I had the most heartwarming, thoughtful conversation with Laura Marie! Laura Marie makes zines like Trike Diaries and enjoys the intersection of disability and sexuality. She lives in community and helps run the Las Vegas Radical Mental Health Collective. She also does interfaith peace work and anti-nuclear work. Her ancestors were unjustly harmed in the Trinity bomb test in New Mexico. Laura Marie writes a lot and also enjoys making visual art, riding trike, ecstatic dance, and permaculture.   You can follow Laura Marie's work at:  https://www.listeningtothenoiseuntilitmakessense.com https://www.facebook.com/functionallyill https://www.instagram.com/xtrikeslutsx/

In this episode I had the pleasure of interviewing Susana Banana! We talk about everything from being a looner, contortion, bdsm and more! Suzie is a fetish performer and sex worker who specializes in submission and balloons. She caters to a wide range of fetishes but balloons and BDSM are her true loves. She absolutely loves content creation and also does a lot of personalized services such as Individual camming and sexting sessions as well. Suzie is 25 and has been doing this for coming up nearing 3 years now.  You can support Susana Banana's work at Linktr.ee/SuzieBxxx
Almost half of y'all voted for this topic on my IG storytime against the toxic empathic massage story, so eat up baby birds! In this super petty story time rant, I share about a time I was in a looong car ride with someone with incompatible music tastes and who said some pretty rude things to me because of it. Needless to say, there was not another date after this.  Follow my chaotic creative shenanigans on instagram @dabby.longlegs
StoryTime! In spirit of Mother's Day, the recent Roe v. Wade drama, and being 5 months post-op, I am sharing my story about my hysterectomy! I cover a LOT in this episode, so I included time stamps. I'll cover the many reasons I wanted a hysto, how I qualified to receive one despite being unmarried without children, what the surgery/recovery was like, and how my life has improved since having the procedure. You can watch this episode on youtube, and stay up to date with my shenanigans on Insta @dabby.longlegs. Welcome to the traumedy hour, where I turn weird sh*t that happened in my life alchemy-like into funny storytelling. Well, kinda funny.  This is about the time where I was at a vulnerable place in my life and had a really weird experience with a masseuse who wound up displaying some traits that are often seen in toxic spiritual communities. I'm able to laugh at all this years later (hence the episode), but it's also important to talk about how to look out for these sorts of things when you're seeking healing services, especially while recovering from trauma.     You can listen to this episode wherever you stream podcasts from my show, Living Deliciously, and stay up to date with my creatively chaotic shenanigans on my instagram @ dabby.longlegs.  Thanks for your support!
A reading of the Artist's Principles from Julia Cameron's book, The Artist's Way. Recording a reading of the principles was one of the assignments from week 11, so I thought what better place to share than my podcast! Enjoy 💖
Week 10 of the Artist's Way! This one is all about how we numb ourselves with vices and distractions to avoid facing the potential anxiety that comes with creating and devoting time to our art. I felt personally attacked in THE BEST WAY.  You can watch this episode on my youtube channel under the username dabbylonglegs, and you can stay up-to-date with all my regular shenanigans on my instagram, @dabby.longlegs
Hello Darlings,  This is part two of my gender affirming journey series. In this episode I discuss my journey seeking gender affirming care, specifically, testosterone, top surgery, and a hysterotomy. I hope that this is helpful to people who have reached out and asked what first steps they should take to find care, as well as providing insight for people who don't know what this process is like and what many trans folks go through. I also need to add that while everything went well and as it ideally should, unfortunately my experience seems to be a rare case for most trans people. Gender-affirming care is a privilege not only for financial reasons but also the area one lives plays a huge role in their ability to receive access. I was fortunate enough to qualify for financial aid due to my rough financial situation amidst the pandemic, so my treatment was HIGHLY discounted and it cost me almost nothing. I also live in a progressive state and city, so I had access to open minded affirming doctors. There are so many laws and bills being written as I type this that put the rights and lives of trans folks, especially trans children, at risk. I encourage anyone who watches this youtube video or listens to my podcast to research ways they can be an ally to the BIQTPOC community, and urge their local governments to not support anti-trans laws.  support my work: youtube: dabby longlegs instagram: dabby.longlegs venmo: dabbylonglegs
One of the (many) benefits of psilocybin is that it can help people get in touch with their true selves. This is especially true for people who have suppressed their identities due to religion or trauma from their upbringing. As someone who experienced both pretty heavily throughout my childhood, psilocybin helped me to see my true self with love and without fear. After years of exploring my gender identity, I've embarked on a new path in my journey and will be sharing my stories in this series. You can watch me chat on youtube, or listen my show Living Deliciously wherever you get your podcasts.
