In a world that often measures our worth by our professional achievements, it's crucial to recognize that our value extends far beyond our careers. I gathered with community in Brooklyn, New York for this live podcast panel discussion around our current digital age, productivity, and well-being.We discussed who we are outside of what we do. How can we ensure that we are holistic individuals who love ourselves and others regardless of our productivity and job titles? What practices can help us grow in other areas outside the workspace, and how can we remain happy and proud of ourselves even in seasons where we are not outwardly "winning"?This event was a much-needed reminder that NONE OF US ARE ALONE in society, as isolated as we may feel or be. Societal norms around work can make us feel worthless — remember that you are enough simply because you are. Nothing else, just being.Moderators:  Prerna Manchanda & Pennie AnassiPanelists: Jaconna Jacobs, Julius Stukes Jr, Anthony Duncan, & Liz Beecroft If you made it in person, thanks for coming out. I am a huge advocate for silence.I know that transformation happens when we are still: we let ourselves move from doing to being, and we make space. Practicing silence helps us be more grounded, mindful, and present. However, this practice of silence is not the end-goal in all spaces. In many spaces, we actually need to be speaking up more, especially against injustices. In this episode we’ll break down learning one’s proximity to power, when and how to use your voice, the importance of silence, and more. ---Visit our website for the show notes and more! Sign up for the Newsletter to join our community (and get a free meditation!).For business or team leaders who want to boost productivity and happiness on their teams, visit https://www.technicallyspiritual.com/corporate-services to learn about our mindfulness programming.Follow Technically Spiritual on Instagram :)Please leave a rating & review! Your voice is your first inheritance. Words are the vibrations that alchemize our thoughts, self, and expression into the physical, shared world. By becoming more mindful about our thoughts, our intention, and how our voice is the first outward expression of our inner selves, we quite literally change the way we exist physically in this world. And, we become more confident because we practice trusting the communication between our mind and our body. We talk about all this and more with world-renowned TedX speaker and founder of MindBodySpeak, Marshall Davis Jones.

A Canadian transplant, she has two grown daughters and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and sourdough starter, Eleanor.
