April 10, 2020Hey everybody. It's been 2 weeks into lockdown, and we trust you have all been coping well during these times. The news is mightily  important in order for the community to remain informed and up to date with current affairs that are integral in the wellbeing of our lives. the news brings us all sorts of topics, from politics to economics and right through to sports. at the current moment there has been an influx in news on, yes you guessed it, the corona virus. The rate at witch people are being infected, dying , and mentally being affected are alarming, alarming to the point where the whole world is experiencing fear. Governments have enforced a lockdown in most countries, denying human interaction. luckily there is social media and that allows us to stay in touch with the world. social media is also the easiest way to pass on news, a great piece of innovation indeed. However with the fear that is already caused by the COVID19 pandemic on people, social media has a way to heighten that fear, and that is by spreading fake news. in this episode we look at what fake news is, how to spot it and finding the solution to put it to bed. Greetings once again beloved listeners, we hope you're holding up as we are faced with a changing world. We're pretty sure you know how the lockdown works, basically there are rules that have been set out to keep us in our households in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus, where the only time you are able to leave your house would be in accordance with the regulations. There are different stages with different regulations and  the regulations ease of as the stages phase out, in order to allow economic activity in turn giving us back our freedom.  The reasons the regulations have been put into place are understandable but, they are also debatable. In this episode we explore if our rights are being unfairly taken away by the regulations that have been set in place. Are the curtailed laws overreaching ? Are they taking away our freedom unfairly?
