All I can say is keep carrying on, Joe. These comments are evidence of how our national dialogue has disintegrated into angry ranting rather than civil discourse. Your intelligence, thoughtfulness, and moral standards will bring you across the finish line. What kind of took me aback from this episode is that there really does seem to be a mutual and genuine respect between Whitmer and Biden. There was something human in it that cut through my usual cynicism about these kinds of things.
I really enjoy hearing Joe Biden talk in a low key environment. He's very intelligent and thoughtful and caring. It is comforting to hear his calm and measured speaking style. Especially considering the erratic and self congratulatory and defensive manner of president Trump's daily briefings. Is Joe Biden everyone's perfect candidate? of course not... such a person does not exist in current divisive culture. But I think this podcast proves that he will be a welcome change to the current circus we see every day on Trump's media onslaught.
