It is time for another edition of Henshin Fever, this time with a back t back episode recap, covering episode 4 "Antrooper Labyrinth" and episode 5 "Burn! Fight! Wrestler G!".Cameron makes some bold predictions for the season. Chance reveals some cool Toku suits.Programing change: We are shifting our weekly episode coverage into a biweekly coverage over two episodes. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenshin! We are putting on our drivers and getting transformed for new episodes of Kamen Rider Gotchard. We are watching episode 6 and 7. We finally learn a little bit about Spanner, but we have more questions than answers now. Also, we get to part 1 of our first two parter with episode 7. Chance talks about an issue he is having with act structure.Cameron finally watches Geats and won't shut up about it.
We did an oopsie here at Henshin Fever and split a two parter. In order to avoid this horribly gauche mistake again, we are just covering one episode of Gotchard today, with episodes 9 and 10 coming in a future episode.Cameron gushes over Geats some more. Chance is deeply moved by Saber. We are also all in on Isaac the AI (Alchemist IPad).
The gang is on location this week as they go to Kyoto for their school trip. It all goes awry when Clotho releases not one but two violent criminals to become Malgams to try and take down Geats. Also Kijiki falls in love.
Things finally come to a head this week on Kamen Rider Gotchard and we are here for it! The Abyssal Sisters plan is revealed and things start to pop off as Gotchard moves into its second arc. Chemies galore and a new Rider make for an eventful two episodes that retroactively make the rest of the season better.
New Year, New Chemies, Same Podcast Buddies!After a bit of a break, the Kamen Rider Gotchard coverage continues, with not 1, not 2, but 3 new episodes being talked about today. Things get weird as UFO-X makes another appearance, giving us the silliest Gotchard suit yet, but not if X-Rex has anything to say about it as Super Gotchard X-Rex also makes an appearance to square off with Kamen Rider Dread once again. Its a wild and fun time as the series begins to ramp up and get going somewhere.
Sorry for our prolonged absence. Sickness and travel always are a kicker this time of year. But we are back with you today and we come bearing fruit. Not one, but two new Kamen Riders joining forces with Gotchard as he fights against Geryon and the Abyssal Sisters to save the Chemies. Join us this week as we cover episodes 18-21, witnessing the birth of Burning Gotchard, Kamen Rider Majade, and Kamen Rider Valvarad. Iron Gotchard gets down to business fighting WarpTera and Kamen Rider Dread Unicon (the sickest suit in the whole show) and the secrets of Minato's past are revealed...maybe...is that it? Time will tell.---also---BoonBoomChange! The first two episodes of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger are hear and they are...AMAZING! We watch and recap all the action as we dive into a new branch of Tokusatsu, the Super Sentai. Will it be a regular thing? Who knows? But it's a good time either way.
Times they are a boonboom changin'!We are back with more Gotchard (maybe peak Gotchard) as the Kitchen Ichinose Alliance has a major showdown with Geryon and the Abyssal Sisters as the evil plan is unfurled and the Kamen Rider Dread gets even more cool forms. New Riders (for some reasons) and new suits galore this week.Also, Boonboomger continues its hot streak (can three episodes be a hot streak?) as Mira the Bunpink, makes a delivery and cracks us all up.

The boys meet fatherhood today. Join them as they get to know Alan, meet a new, standout member of the class, and try to calculate Feeny’s age. Also, the case against Feeny grows. Is there any hope for this destroyer of minds?
Note: This episode was recorded in late February. There is some talk of COVID-19 but we were not yet practicing social distancing at that point.The Boys take on the tall task of renaming all of the episodes and meet some wonderful new characters. They discuss “Cory’s Alternative Friends” and “Killer Bee” and tackle some big questions like “What are the Tuamotus?” and “Just where are the teachers at this school?”Plus, Shawn gains a name and the Boys lose their favorite bit! The Boys enjoy a snack before the episode kicks off! Should they have cut that out? Probably! But they had a lot of fun. One of the Boys reveals his seedy academic past while the other judges him harshly. Cameron theorizes the Boy Meets World Extended Universe while Chance talks a bit too much about Keri Russell.
They Boys try their hand at remote podcasting... the results go about as well as Cory's attempts to teach social studies. Also, the future is now as Cory and his class plan their class reunion, which would take place this month of this very year!We do apologize for the lateness and shifting audio quality of this episode. So much more went wrong then we imagined. We finally Frankensteined it together. But fear not We have already recorded next week's episode and it went far better!
