Andrew Jantke of the High-Performance Hoops Network has released 2 podcast series on Player Development.*Series 2 Mental Toughness Series*The 2nd series is currently in development and is cohosted by recent Stanford University Student Athlete, Isaac White. Isaac has also just started his pro career in the National Basketball League. This podcast will introduce ideas on mental toughness, dedication. Isaac and Jantke will look at how Mental Toughness can be defined, developed, harness and identified for peak performance. Isaac will use real life examples from his playing career so far which has taken him to some very big stages, including playing games with 15000+ in the gym, globally televised, against household name basketball programs, where he has performed very well. This series is great for athletes of all ages to hear but also their parents, coaches and supporters. Infact anyone with an interest in mental toughness in any context will get value from listening.*Series 1 Skill Development Series*The first series was 3 part series cohosted with skill development coach Gabriel Saldavia form Lab46. These podcasts are designed to help athletes in their skill development. Be it with skill development coaches or in their own workouts, help parents support their athletes, and provide ideas for skill development coaches out there to enhance their own service offerings. Ultimately we want to improve the game!! From there we will look at doing more depending on audience interest and feedback.

We've had 100s of listeners from all over the country to episodes 1 and 2 and we hope we are building the skill development industry for athletes, as well as skill development and club coaches alike.  We also hope that parents are getting information for how to support their child's skill development.In our third episode of our three-episode pilot, Coach Gabriel Saldavia of Lab46 joins Coach Janx of High-Performance Hoops Network to discuss:An athlete's needs analysis. In our first of our three-episode pilot, Gabriel Saldavia of Lab46 joins us to discuss an introduction to skill development training. This episode will help lay the groundwork for the next 3 as Gab and Janx discuss things such as why should athletes do skill development, what to look for in a skill development coach, and philosophies and emphasis they apply to each session.  Using the sessions to develop player confidence, the importance of developing a plan for players with club coaches, how parents can run their own sessions are some other key topics discussed.
