Description

The Muscle, the Sage, and the Spy have all been brought together by the Leader to form the detective agency known as V.O.A. (Various Operations Agency). Their first big break will lead them down a path of murder, mystery, and mayhem as they tackle their caseload out of Kronwikk.

"Various Operations Agency" (VOA) are at Cabbot Moore's tower. Daff decides he wants to go back to being a detective. Lennie is very unhappy with this, sees it as Daff abandoning them, and steals Daff's Periapt of Health. Lennie threatens Daff and Toki suggests the party takes all of Daff's stuff in the middle of the night and sneak away, but Nevets and Toki calm Lennie down and decide to give everyone an equal share of the assets - except the Periapt of Health, which Nevets and Lennie decide to give to Toki instead of returning it to Daff. This is Toki's only magic item for the entire campaign to date.

"Various Operations Agency" (VOA) are in the walled town of Rwalwikk in the Western Vodan Plains. They are here on the orders from the Queen of Drekis to secretly capture Kel Pochi for what he did to the Akuban Knights. Letters discovered in Kel Pochi's hometown led the party to believe that the knight is hiding inside the "Stack House" building in town. Investigations in Rwalwikk suggest it is home to some sort of Death Cult or something that is throwing a New Moon party tomorrow night that promises to be transformative.

"Various Operations Agency" (VOA) arrive in the Bon' Theris on their hunt for Pirate Captain Zaaz. Nevets and Toki go to the Gangplank tavern to look for Zaaz. Daff and Lennie go to the Sheriff's Office to talk with Sheriff Molly. Sheriff Molly meets with Lennie and Daff. Daff clears the air with Sheriff Molly, claiming that Lennie is reformed. The Sheriff believes Daff, but is still very displeased. Daff then explains that a ship will be stolen soon, but don't know which ship. The Sheriff doesn't find the information very helpful, and that she has no reward for the party preventing a theft.

The party reach the crater of Atreya . The party part ways with their guide Turnip then link up the steep cliffs. By the end of the day the NOA have gotten to the crest of the crater. The steaming Sinder Lake can be seen below. During the night there is a noise in the dark, and Nevets goes to investigate alone quietly. He sees a snow elemental heading south-south-east, but has run into a wall. Nevets reports in to party, who go back to bed. Nevets goes back to spy on the elemental.
