Happy New Year everyone! In this episode of the Amplify Entrepreneur Podcast, we're talking about defining our goals for this year. Goals are a finicky thing to handle -- if you set too small of a goal, it's not entirely motivating. On the other side of the coin, if you set too high of a goal, you're setting yourself up for failure. So how do we balance the two? As entrepreneurs, our goals can be obvious, but setting the right goals, metrics, and evaluations will allow us to accurately benchmark our progress (without giving us the headache of management). Rather than letting goals paralyze us into inaction, we prefer to establish goals that motivate us toward action. In this episode, we discuss what our goals are for 2022, how we came to determine these goals, and our plan of attack. If you enjoyed this episode of the podcast, make sure to give us a review with your feedback. We'd love to hear your thoughts and help you amplify the entrepreneur within.

If there's one thing about successful entrepreneurship, it is the ability to delegate. This can be difficult for those who are used to wearing every single hat in their business, but it can often times lead to the uncomfortable truth that the thing holding you back......is yourself. That's where a virtual assistant comes in; to not only allow you to focus on the things that you're best at doing, but to actually scale and grow your business. But how do you get started? In this episode, Nick talks with the best virtual assistant on the planet, Karen Trinidad, about how to actually work with a virtual assistant, including what to look for, management protocols, establishing trust, rapport, finances, and all of the things people worry about when they first start thinking of getting a virtual assistant. Having a VA is one of the biggest things you can do for the health of your business and yourself. Don't miss this episode!
What's our biggest limiting factor as entrepreneurs? It may not be easy to hear, but the answer can often be very simple: ourselves. As entrepreneurs in real estate, we wear many hats; marketer, salesperson, paperwork advisor, lister, closer, all the while trying to find time to eat and take meetings. This is where the idea of delegation scares entrepreneurs into a corner. Because we're so used to doing everything, we want to control every little bit of our business. Truth be told, this is often the reason why businesses fail -- if you're doing EVERYTHING, chances are that nothing is growing. In this conversation with Ben Dittman, we talk about how to truly scale a business beyond the solopreneurial level, what holds people back, and the story of  how he realized what it takes to elevate a business to truly flourish. You don't want to miss this episode.
Most people get into entrepreneurship because they have a dream to become either financially free, not have a boss, or be able to do what they want; however, the reality of entrepreneurship is much more than rainbows and sunshine dreams. It takes work. In this episode, co-host CJ Love talks with Johnson Crutchfield about the the story of how he first got into real estate, the things he wished he knew when he first started, myth-busting in real estate (and how to actually profit from real estate), and the things he did to successfully work as a real estate investor.
