Today 's masterclass-style episode features Ron Simpson,  Creative Entrepreneur & Founder of The Avocado Show, who shares his insights on how to turn creative ideas into successful concepts. An award-winning serial entrepreneur with an exceptional eye for marketing, branding and strategy, being able to pick Ron's brain is usually only accessible via booking a Skybox session. However, as Aces of Space have recently partnered up with The Avocado Show, my colleagues and I had the opportunity to chat with Ron in between meetings. Brace yourselves for a deep dive into the innovative world of Ron Simpson...
“Andrew mentioned at the beginning of COVID-19 that this was going to be our best year ever. And I was listening to him thinking to myself is he kidding? I’m sitting at home with my two girls and we have a company with crazy times. But then I thought “Ok, if you say so, let’s do this.” And I think that’s when I realized I needed to change my mindset.” In this episode of Mission Control, Aces of Space’s Sustainability Strategist, Tommy Hendriks, speaks to two out of three of Aces of Space’s Co-Founders Babs Van Hassel and Tim Hundersmarck about 2020, the challenges brought about by the pandemic, the opportunities it presented, how Aces turned things around as an agency whilst keeping the entire team intact and what the future holds.
“The pavilion is designed as a sustainable biotope, a harvesting machine. Water will be harvested out of the air, energy is collected from the sun, and edible plants and oyster mushrooms will be growing inside the pavilion. All for the visitors to see, smell and taste.” In this episode of Mission Control, Aces of Space’s Sustainability Strategist, Tommy Hendriks, speaks to Niels Bouwman about the extraordinary circular architectural design of the Dutch Pavilion within Dubai  World Expo 2021’s sustainability district and the importance of sustainability in 2021.
