Sean's 12 Ways To Cut Your Tech Spending:1. Take inventory of your subscriptions and cut the ones you use less than an hour a week! For software subscriptions, do a break-even analysis for subscription vs. lifetime license. 2. Share logins among family members.3. Re-negotiate home internet contracts every year and get the latest speeds and specials. Look at the offerings from other internet service providers that may be new to the area.4. Re-negotiate cell phone contracts every year and get the latest specials. While you are at it, see if you qualify for any additional discount. 5. Don’t buy the latest gadgets. Only replace electronics when necessary. 6. Don’t fall for the endless smart home devices and wearables. Make sure that when you get a device, you can get your money's worth in value from it.7. Don’t lease technology and don’t put it on a payment plan. If you do this, you can’t afford it and shouldn’t have it.8. Protect your technology with good cases and antivirus, not protection plans! Unless you are one of those people who love calling tech support for every little issue and mindlessly use their computer for garbage, don’t waste money on the additional protection plans!9. Buy enterprise-grade electronics when possible. 10. When possible, buy devices that are easy to repair. 11. When possible, use open source! Example: Libre Office!               12. Cut your cable and landline.
