Hello friend! Today's episode brings a little bit of a lower energy, but as always, an honest conversation about slowing down and giving ourselves the actual rest that we need. It doesn't always feel great, especially when we're trying to accomplish some big goals or if we're feeling "behind," but when we get intentional about integrating rest into our routines, we can actually be more productive in the long run!  Let me know your takeaways from today's episode, I would love to connect on this one! Find me on IG @ashton.pitre and if you feel called to, tag me in your stories so I can shout you out personally! Keep on living soft and strong friends :)  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message
Hello friends! Today's episode is a quick one that came to me in my own observations of other people, and it's something I'm definitely guilty of doing too. Why do we apologize when we don't look completely put together? If we show up on our IG stories & snaps looking a little bit messy, we don't need to be sorry for it! Ladies, I'm looking at you...I see you saying sorry for your appearance (or the state of your home) and I just want you to know that you don't need to apologize to ANYONE! The people who care don't matter, and the people who matter don't care, right? You know I say this with love, friend to friend. It's time to stop saying sorry for something you don't need to be sorry for :) If you loved today's episode, I would love to connect! You can find me on IG @ashton.pitre, feel free to screenshot this episode and tag me so I can thank you for sharing the message! Keep on living soft and strong :)  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message
Hello friends! In today's episode, I take you way back to where it all began for me. From the body shame and insecurity of a girl coming into her teen years, to the young women desperate for a body deserving of love, I don't hold anything back. This is a story that's all too familiar for too many women, and it's beyond time we change the narrative for the next generation. Losing weight is NOT the key to happiness, success, and most of all, it is not required to be WORTHY OF LOVE, in every moment. This is something I'm very passionate about, as it took me many years to really lean in to taking care of myself on the INSIDE, and realizing that the biggest transformations are the ones that go on underneath the surface.  If today's episode resonated with you, I would be so happy if you shared it on IG. You can find me @ashton.pitre, send me a DM and let me know what you think! Do you have a similar story? I would love to know :) Keep on living soft and strong friends! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message
Hello friends! I'm back with some personal reflections on what's coming up for me regarding my own identity. In today's episode I give some transparency on what's going on in my life and piecing together how a lot my current struggles are connected to identity. I'd love to know if you connect with this topic and if you're currently going through your own identity crises. You're not alone friend! Find me on IG @ashton.pitre, and until next time, keep on living soft and strong :) --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message
Hello friends, hope you're feeling the love with this one! Today's episode is a quick hit of self-love talk and all about how we're worthy and deserving or love TODAY, simply by existing on this planet! I share a little anecdote about my own realization around the self love that was lacking and how I take better care to love who I was, who I am, and who I'm becoming (cuz a girl's still got goals!!).  If this one hit home for you, I would love to connect! You can find me on IG @ashton.pitre - send me a message or tag this episode in your stories and share what your takeaway was. Sending BIG love to YOU my soft and strong hearts out there!! :) --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message
Hello friend! Always grateful to have you here :) In today's episode, I explore some of the ways in which I intend for the podcast to evolve as I continue to grow with it. In an effort to bridge that gap between who we are now and who we want to be, I'm ready to bring you all the real talk of the steps and missteps I've taken in my journey towards self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-love. This will forever be an ongoing process, but it's one I'm committed to and that I'm excited to do with other powerful women by my side. If you connected with today's episode, I'd love to connect! You can find me on IG @ ashton.pitre, tag me in your stories and help get the message out!! As always, keep on living soft and strong <3  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message
In today's episode, walk with me down memory lane as I share some audio that I pulled from an IGTV I made in August of 2019. It's a little glimpse into what eventually would become one of the primary drivers behind creating this podcast! I share my own struggles as a sensitive person, right from the early years to how I feel about it today and how my perspective has changed. This is the beginning of a much deeper dive into the topic of sensitivity, and I love that I was brave enough to share it (on video no less!) back in 2019. Let me know your thoughts on this one - I'd love to know if you connect with the message!! Find me on IG @ashton.pitre  Also mentioned in today's episode - please check out my friend Danielle Paci and her podcast "Finding Love In The City." I was interviewed on her show in December 2020, and it's a juicy episode all about how my partner and I first started dating! I love our story so much, and I hope you will too :)  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message

Well today friends, let's break the somber mood of the year by hearing a funny story about the Christmas that didn't go very smoothly. I'll take you back to 2014 when a "stomach flu" turned out to be much more serious than I expected, and my boyfriend (now fiance) met my family for the FIRST time! I hope this story brings some much needed humour to all who hear it, and please feel free to share it with anyone else who needs a good laugh :) I'd love to connect with you! Hey friends! Today's episode touches on a LOT of different things: setting "new moon" intentions, knowing your enneagram, grieving a loss that you didn't expect to grieve, realizing what you thought you needed actually doesn't serve you right now, changing your mind and doing what's best for YOU. If you're in a place where you feel off balance and stuck in too much coasting and not enough action, this one's for you! If you need rest more than anything, this one's still for you ;) Mentioned in today's episode: 2190 Apparel (find them on Instagram @2190apparel) If you loved today's episode, I would love to hear from you! Hey friends! So happy to be back with a jam-packed episode all about the things I wish I could tell my younger self. That being said, life greatest lessons come from going through a lot of crap and getting to the other side a little bit wiser than before. So as much as I wish I could impart some wisdom to the 22-year-old me, I also respect that she had to learn these things through life experience.  I'd love to know what you wish you could tell your younger self! Send me your feedback on IG @ashton.pitre, and let's have a chat ;) --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message
Today's episode is a vulnerable one. I've been hearing more and more about toxic positivity and this need to be #goodvibesonly, and that's not REAL. What is real in this moment is that sadness and happiness and pain and joy can all co-exist. Let's normalize feeling what comes up for us, no apologies.  If you connected with today's episode, I would love to hear from you! Find me on Instagram @ashton.pitre. Stay soft and strong friends <3 --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashton-pitre/message

Today's episode is a re-cap on the content in episode 4 (Tips for Transitions), and how applying the tips in my own life and through my own transitions made a difference. It's also a reminder that the best podcast episodes are like NOT recorded the night before they are scheduled to release...at least not in this case ;) I'd love to connect with you and hear your takeaways! In today's "HOT-HEART MINUTE" episode, we share some common reasons why we struggle to ask for help, and why it's actually a really good thing to practice and do! Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is admit that we need help, so let's flex those "ask" muscles ;) I'd love to connect and hear your takeaways from today's episode!
