I find the comparison of smoking/lung cancer to be disingenuous. While he mentions several studies, he doesn’t explain what they examined or how they arrived at the conclusion. The extreme blame on gaming as the only source of violence is quite absurd. If anything, the amount of time spent playing games is reflective of isolation from peers and ignorance of parents, which I think is far more influential.

This was, hands down, one of the most compelling podcasts I've ever heard. Absolutely fascinating!

I have to say with Xbox and digital download games, Microsoft Xbox states you must be 18 to own an account. I guess it's down to the parents whether they allow their child to have an account and what they play.

My sister in law is at one of Phil's seminars and I finally put two and two together and realized it was him! Needless to say, I'm SO jealous. This podcast is one of my favorite top two.

Ugh. I enjoy this show, but pulling up a dude with a clear bias, spouting claims like "garbage in, [garbage] out" and "these people wouldn't have committed these crimes if it weren't for videogames" is irresponsible fear mongering. This kind of blaming of media as some sole arbitor of murderous impulse in kids has been eyerollingly silly since even the 2000's. Hearing these claims in 2020 is disappointing, to say the least.

It is fascinating to compare Dellmus and Clyde. how they are so similar in their lack of remorse and absolute casual recollection of their cruelty, but are so different as well. How much more nonchalant Clyde is with his fate, how the two have different moral compasses, motivations, and so on. But, most of all, it's a reminder that these monsters are humans. That this absolute darkness lies within someone who seems just like any other mundane stranger.

she's so naive. she believes everything out of his mouth. sk constantly claim credit for murders that they didn't commit. and to believe that he was sorry to her? give me a break, girl.

I really enjoy the raw conversations on this podcast. I find it fascinating how these killers talk about these unspeakable crimes they have committed. I find it interesting, how they almost brag about what they have done, not to mention lie about crimes and murders they did not commit. I also appreciate the work being done here, to uncover answers for the victims and families faced with cold cases, and no answers. So far, I really like this podcast.

Great episode! So good to hear the whole story behind these murders and bring to light issues that get pushed aside like bullying and the effects it can have. https://castbox.fm/vd/307475509
