As a parent it is important for you to spend time with your child, but it is not about the amount of time, but rather the quality of time that you all share. This past week Texas experienced a winter storm unlike any other. Many were not prepared for the icy roads, power outages, food shortage and even pipes breaking from the frigid temperatures. Although the winter storm passed, there are still many people who are dealing with the negative effects and it will not be quick to overcome. With all the struggles that many have experienced during this hard year this holiday season might be less glamorous and festive as we are used to. This pandemic has completely changed the way we teach our kids. The school system has tried their best to adjust to this new way of learning.
