Great episode, but I disagree with Timothee being too young. Paul in the novel is a teen. He’s like 15. If anything Timothee was a little old.
Maybe it's late, but Jacqueline brought up a good question. I did not enjoy Last Jedi and have not, to this day, seen Rise of Skywalker. The LJ did not grab me. It wasn't fun and it led nowhere that had me wondering how it would end. Have not touched SW since, not even The Mandelorian. I just don't care anymore.

jaqueline coley is without question the most racist person I have ever heard spew propaganda. I dare anyone to listen to an episode of this show and not find her dragging race into it. I don't watch films so I can be lectured to and there is NO WAY I will subscribe to a podcast that promotes this garbage. P.S. mark ellis, wtf? you are so much better than this. Do you need some money or something? This easily would be my favorite podcast but until I hear that the racist has been fired I am done.
angry birds is not a movie, it's a cartoon. movie = live action. so it should not be a part of the equation.
Jaqueline sounds like the kind of person who just doesn't like science fiction. If she apparently watched this movie 3 times, why did she not take the time to look up the source material? Likewise with the other fella. Robots!? They're cyborgs people, get it straight. Also, as far as female empowerment is concerned, if this film ever gets a sequel, you'll see Alita become the most badass warrior you could possibly imagine.
