Aida Curi, born on December 15th, 1939, was the third child among five born to Syrian parents. At the young age of 5, Aida lost her father, and her mother was forced to move to Rio de Janeiro for work. At 18, finishing school, she was at the start of her life. On August 1st, 1998, Jayson Artis disappeared during his visit to Tijuana, Mexico, where he was celebrating his younger brother Steven Thomas's birthday. They became separated around 1:30 am. Two days later, Jayson's family received a call from the American Consulate informing them that he had been found dead.
