We’re back with one of our biggest guests yet! Dwier Brown who played John Kinsella in Field of Dreams comes on to discuss the impact of the movie 30 years later. Unsurprisingly, Adam discusses the implosion of the Mets, as they have since fallen from first place in the NL East.
Listen and be amused as the guys courageously struggle to pronounce Higashioka while discussing the recent benching of Gary Sanchez. Adam and Jordan hand out their draft grades for the Giants and Jets. We also end things as always with some mailbag questions.
The guys recap the news surrounding some of the local teams to start off. Jordan discusses the recent play of the Knicks, while Adam states why the Isles won’t make it far in the playoffs. We end the show with an NFL Mock Draft. See if your picks line up with ours!
On episode 13 the guys play catch up with a special edition of ‘View From The Cheap Seats’. Jordan breaks down the Darnold trade, the Yankees’ woes to start the season. Adam takes the wheel and goes off about Michael Conforto’s play to begin the season, and ends it with some Islanders and Rangers talk.
On today’s episode, Adam and Jordan recap the Giants and Jets free agency signings thus far. The guys weigh the options pros and cons of Francisco Lindor landing a long-term deal in Queens.
The guys debut a special segment called “View From The Cheap Seats” where Adam and Jordan will be recapping or discussing storylines in 30 minutes or less. In the inaugural segment, Jordan discusses the NBA Trade Deadline and who might be changing jerseys around the league.
On this week’s episode Adam and Jordan give their reviews of Day 1 of the NFL Free Agency period. Jordan recaps the Knicks loss to Brooklyn, as Adam discusses his experience of watching the Rangers play at MSG. The guys round out the show by opening up the mailbag and listing their predictions for the AL/NL Central Division.
Adam and Jordan discuss the beginning of the NFL free agency period. The guys detail some of the targets the Jets and Giants could, and should go after. Can the Islanders stay afloat in the East DIvision? Finally we end the show with the recent humorous situation of MSG personnel not recognizing Patrick Ewing.
This week on Episode 9, the guys discuss the offseason moves that we could see from the Jets and Giants. Will the Jets look to free agency? Will the Giants take their chances in the draft? Adam and Jordan also go over the possible trade packages and destinations for Taylor Hall and Jack Eichel. Then we wrap it up by opening up some mail and laying out some NL and AL West division predictions.
Jordan flies solo this week while Adam is out on assignment. Jordan discusses the recent trade that sent Carson Wentz to Indianapolis. Jordan dives into what the Nets need to do to raise their level of play, as well as some of the moves the Mets and Yankees might still need to make.
On this week’s episode the guys discuss surprising blowout that occurred in the Super Bowl LV that resulted in Tom Brady picking up his 7th Super Bowl ring. Adam can’t resist the idea of Matt Chapman possibly coming to Queens, regardless of rumors. Jordan discusses why Sidney Crosby potentially playing on Broadway would not only benefit the Rangers, but the NHL as well.
On Episode 6 the guys discuss the recent trade that sent Nolan Arenado to St. Louis. After the show, Trevor Bauer would soon announce his agreement to go to the Dodgers. Jordan Katz lists the moves the Amazin’s can still make. Adam then goes on to discuss why Tom Brady will pick up another ring on Sunday, and what the Chiefs need to do to stay champions. The guys wrap it up by answering more of your mailbag questions
New co host Jordan Katz makes his debut on Episode 5. Adam and Jordan start off by recapping Connor McGregor’s recent loss at UFC 257. The guys discuss the possible next moves the Mets will make, and wrap up by listing all the possible destinations for Deshaun Watson. This episode was recorded Wednesday so yea, we know Steven Matz is gone, deal with it.
Happy Opening Night to all hockey fans, as the 2021 season officially kicks off tonight. Jenelle Mackie joins Adam to preview the ENTIRE season. The two hockey fanatics discuss the ins and outs of the upcoming season, as well as some of the obstacles the player will face with the tough schedule.
On Episode 3 host Adam Denker discusses the Jets picking up their first win of the season this past weekend over the Los Angeles Rams. Adam drives home the fact that, even if the Jets were to draft Trevor Lawrence, the highly coveted QB wouldn’t solve all their problems. USA Today’s NBA Writer Mark Medina comes on to discuss the official start of the Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant era in Brooklyn. The two dive into the dynamic between the two superstars and how solid will that relationship be as the season progresses.
On Episode 2 host Adam Denker dives into the recent Kyrie Irving drama surrounding his recent comments in which he called members of the media “pawns”. Adam talks about the comments and the following apology. The Mets signed catcher James McCann to a 4 yr deal worth $40 million. Adam discusses where the Mets should go from there. To end the show, ESPN’s Senior NHL Writer Greg Wyshynski comes on to discuss some of the recent news around the NHL and how the league might look like come opening night.
Former big leaguer and current Vanderbilt coach Mike Baxter comes on to chat about his playing days with host Adam Denker. Adam and Mike discuss Mike’s days playing in Queens with the Mets, as well as his infamous catch in the Johan Santana no-hitter. The guys touch on Mike’s early days playing at Vanderbilt University and what brought him back to coach at one of the top programs in the nation.
