It's been 50 years! Who are your Top 5 Rappers? Which artists reign supreme? I sit down with the fellas and talk about it. How do we rank our favorites? It's been a long time and hip hop has changed so much. From the fashion to lyricism. It's too easy to be a rapper in today's world. Just mumble over a bouncy track and call it a day. With Griselda attempting to bring the real feel back it's hard to not want to talk about the rappers who did it best. Now I'm not one to use album sales to boost an artist's stock. It's strictly skill. We're talking lyrics, flow, presence and impact. let's get it poppin!!!Spotify: https://spotify.link/83daxCYT2CbApple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/in-for-uestioning-with-ah-kim/id1602941134#2pac #50yearsofhiphop #90shiphop #bestmc #bestrappersalltime #biggiesmalls #djkhaled #greatestofalltime #hiphop #hiphop2023 #hiphop50 #50thanniversary #jayz #rankingrappers #raptierlist
Why are men attracted to trans women? Is there a particular type of man, or do all men possess this potential? It seems as if transgender women are becoming highly competitive to natural/real women.I'm a firm believer that a transgender woman will never pose a threat to a real woman who takes pride in being natural. Today's women have allowed men to make them believe that they need to have overly exaggerated features to be seen as beautiful. The real woman of today has a look similar to transgender women. As a 100% heterosexual male, I know that the only men who find transgender women attractive are gay men. There are a large number of gay men hiding out in heterosexual lifestyles. Decades ago we saw a rise of the "down low" male. These men deliberately pretend to be attracted to women, while having affairs with men. Many of these men still claim to be straight.Real women have gotten so far away from self love that they are allowing gay men to dictate how they look. A real woman has cellulite, stretch marks, etc. A confident woman loves her body. She doesn't resort to butt shots, plastic surgery, liposuction, wigs, weaves, fake lashes, etc. Once natural women stop destroying their bodies they will alleviate any comparisons to trans women and gay men will no where to hide.
Black women have steadily proven themselves to be a plague to relationships, romance, marriage etc. They are claiming to not need men, while desperately trying to find one. Because of this, they are the least wanted by men. Especially black men. Where does this love/hate interaction with men come from? I noticed that when I speak/say hello to young black females, I immediately get a headache. Also, they don't respond. The negative energy they give off is unavoidable. If I feel it, with a simple hello, I can only imagine the torment a man that is trying to date them encounters. Black women resent the word, "submissive," without any clear understanding of what it means. They are waiting to compete with their mate for dominance. The new, "masculine" woman movement is what they find pride in. All the while complaining about not being able to find the right man. The modern woman of today is looking to be dominant. The believe that it is possible to be dominant and submissive, at the same time, within the same relationship.Men have gotten away from dating black women in search of emotional and psychological happiness. Nobody wants to be in a toxic relationship with a woman who is delusional to the fact that she is the problem. Divorce is high because "unhappy women" file for it. No one can make a person compatible. We can only place ourselves in the right environments and venues to possibly find the right individuals. Masculine female energy: https://youtube.com/shorts/_8b_fbBWGTY?feature=share#andrewtate #modernwomen #umarjohnson #kevinsamuels #jasonwhitlock #masculineenergy #masculinewoman #divorce
The world is becoming more dangerous by the day. The youth are losing all sense of morals. Understanding the cause can be challenging. With that being said, I believe, 100%, that it is the result of the fatherless generations of children. I sat down with Dave, Chico, Eric and Peter to discuss, "who's responsible for baby daddies?" Men have long become less present in the home. They are no longer an essential part of the family, nor the head of the household. As far as the black community is concerned, it is stated that the Welfare System is what destroyed the black family. Fathers would pretend to not live in the home in order to keep the family receiving public assistance. Why would a father choose to leave his children? Why would a mother not want the father around? There is a constant blame game of accountability. Who determines whether a child is conceived? Some people feel that if a woman doesn't want to be responsible for a child, she shouldn't have her legs open. Others feel that if a man knows he doesn't want to be there, he shouldn't fertilize the egg. No one does it the old fashioned way anymore. There was a time when a man and woman got married, then built a family. This was a place where young girls had a father's love modeled for them. Young boys were taught to be men and females were raised to be wives. Promiscuity resulting in child birth wasn't the norm. A woman wasn't expected to be the dominant figure in the house, neither was men being expected to raise children that aren't their own. Children are now seen as a hassle or a get rich quick scheme. Again, we see black men and women forgetting who is losing in the situation. If adults made more responsible decisions, maybe the use of Plan B pills, abortions and angry children wouldn't be necessary.Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4Bw0FVNv5DzefGfz8kmFlt?si=dwxGmAIPQUWOWcsrNnu4VAApple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/in-for-uestioning-with-ah-kim/id1602941134#FatherlessGeneration #fatherlylove #dadlife #fatherhoodMatters #fatherfigures #familyvalues #parents #modernwomen #kevinsamuels #Babydaddy #modernwomen #Marriage #Welfare
Roland is a proud life member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity incorporated. In a recently interview with Vladtv he gave a critical opinion on numerous topics. But, Is Roland Martin right about Hazing? Roland joined Alpha Phi Alpha while attending Texas A&M University on an academic scholarship. He made it very clear that he was able to join the fraternity, “without being hit.” I enlisted my line brother and my Dean of pledges in assisting me in deciphering the legitimacy of his comments. Especially since it is coming from an individual who was never hazed. On one end he has proudly states that his Chapter, of the fraternity, doesn’t haze. On the other side of the coin, he makes boasts that if his Chapter did haze, he wouldn’t have letters. Roland paints a very negative image of hazing as a part of the pledge process. He paints hazing as an abusive and humiliating process in which death is possible. While doing this, he constantly builds himself, and his line brothers as men whom ran the revolution create the new image of the Alpha Man. He says that an individual with self respect would not subject himself to hazing. Again, where are his viewpoints coming from? I believe that Roland was very articulate and diplomatic in his ability to disguise his fear of hazing. Pledging is stated as being a process that involves being broken down and built up into a greater individual. Also, a process that builds an established brotherhood amongst men. He states that you are to be broken mentally, not physically. Why does he assume that physical means being unnecessarily beaten? Push-ups and sit-ups are physical. Roland equates the word broken with broken bones. Nothing good in life comes without challenge. There is a hazing process involved in all things such as medical school, high school sports, new jobs, etc. Individuals die while attempting to complete Navy Seals training, and football training camps. Do the individuals who participate in those activities lack self respect? Tune in and enjoy a great conversation!https://youtu.be/hz65oPb53Ek#rolandmartin #blackstarnetwork #djvlad #PledgingFraternityHazing #fraternities #hbcu #FraternityBrotherhood #divinenine #alpha #TexasA&M #divine9 #VladtvInterview #AlphaPhiAlphaFraternity
Ray Carruth is a former NFL wide receiver who was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Cherica Adams in November of 1999. Adams and Carruth had a casual boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. Adams became pregnant and planned on having Carruth's child with or without him. Carruth already had a child in college in which he was sued for child support. It's safe to assume that he did not want his future, second, child. We can all it is fair to accuse Carruth of being a bad person. Maybe he felt that each woman's agenda was to become pregnant and get rich. Or. Maybe he's just an individual who doesn't like being responsible or accountable. Why did he feel that murder was a logical solution to his problem? Only he knows the answer. Is Ray Carruth any worse than a woman who deliberately keeps her children away from a father who wants to be in their lives? Both decisions are evil. Both are selfish. Both are intended to cause harm. Lastly, Both intend to bring upon death to another individual. Death means to stop living. There are physical deaths, social deaths, and emotional deaths. Taking a father's children away from him creates The Walking Dead. I've been told by a woman that, although her child's father was a great co-parent she liked to have the overall control. Many women feel that they have the ability and the qualification to be able to tell a man how good of a parent he can be with or without his children. This is the distinction of the American society. Parenting is the new abnormality, and the war between men and women is only getting worse. https://youtu.be/Apta-fGxYE8https://youtu.be/wskBnPiyz_Ehttps://www.wbtv.com/story/37538080/former-carolina-panthers-player-rae-carruth-breaks-silence-behind-bars-hopes-for-relationship-with-son/#crime #MenvsWomen #dating #relationships #RaeCarruth #MyBoyfriendTriedToKillMe #truecrime #KevinSamuels #relationshipadvice #toxiclove #narcissist #nfl #murder #AndrewTate #justpearlythings
One week ago my son and I attended a flag football game to support our new friends. These are individuals who we have known for roughly 3 months. We met at an outdoor basketball court at a park. Since then we support each other and each other's children by showing up in the sideline or in the bleachers for sports games. After the game was over, I chose to stay and watch another game as the other father scouted other teams on their upcoming schedule. My son and his son decided to walk over to an empty field and toss the football around. What ends up happening was more children began to participate and a pick-up football game ensued. I was amazed at what I was seeing because it's the first time my son has had the opportunity to play pickup games, and I was pleased at his comfort level with socialization. He was a little confused in the beginning due to football not being his sport. But, he figured it out.I say all this to express the emotional feeling that came over me by being able to watch my child. I am blessed to be alive right now, and blessed to have been alive long enough to see the other things I've been able to witness for the past 10 years. Parenting is a privilege that not everyone is blessed to experience. Yet, some of us take it for granted. Just having a healthy child is a gift within itself. As a father I understand the responsibilities that I took on where I made the choices to have children. I take pride in creating a stable household for my kids. I believe that being raised in a two parent home is the reason for this. Therefore, I want to pose a question. Can a man who did not grow up with a father become a good father? Also, can a man who does not live with his children compete with a man who does? This is not meant to be a competition in any way. It's just a thought that crossed my mind while observing men with their sons and not knowing who was an everyday dad vs a weekend dad.#AbsentFather #DadvsBabyDaddy #FatherAndSon #AbsentBlackFathers #AbsenteeFather #blackdads #BlackFatherAbsence #BlackFatherhood #BlackFathersAndTheirSons #blackmen #blm #comparison #DaddyIssues ForgivingMyDad#ParttimeFathers #parentingSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4Bw0FVNv5DzefGfz8kmFlt?si=4oKz8NB0SYWQFWs0q0G2FgApple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/in-for-uestioning-with-ah-kim/id1602941134
This month my beautiful princess celebrated her 4th Birthday. As usual, my wife decorated the house for our child’s party. Unbenounced to me, being the typical dad who lets mom select the theme for each birthday, my wife chose a Disney Princess theme. After entering the house, from a long day at work, I was greeted with decorations hanging from the ceiling. I was very shocked and surprised to witness multiple white/Caucasian females literally dangling over my head. I carefully analyzed what I was viewing. I processed it and made a discovery. The birthday package of princesses carefully and strategically selected an eclectic range of princesses. Strangely, when they put they posed the animated princesses in a group picture, they elected to omit princess Tiana. Of course I became infuriated. The disregard for the Black Princess has, once again, been confirmed. I am not a fan of the princess theme for black girl due to the fact that there aren’t enough black princesses to begin with. Why should my daughter be forced to celebrate herself as a princess with majority non-black princesses as her image?I was raised in a household where white dolls were not allowed. My father was not racist, but, he did not like white people. He stated to me that it was based on his experience growing up in Sout Carolina. #although I’m not a racist, in any way, I chose to adopt the same rule in my household. I chose to follow in my father’s footsteps as a way to teach my daughter to embrace black beauty first. I want her to be secure in herself, her skin, her hair and all her black features. I myself was not banned from playing with white figurines as a child. I, personally, do not feel that white G.I. Joe toys has any effect on how my confidence a black body develops as a man. But, I do believe that playing with white long haired dolls influences what a little black girl recognizes as beautiful. It is my job as a dad to protect. mentor and nurture my daughters confidence and self esteem.#selfconfidence #blackfathers #blackmen#blackdads #blackwomen #BlackFatherResponsibilities #BlackFemaleInecurities #reactions #hallebailey #hallebailey #thelittlemermaid #blackgirl #BlackGirlMagic #SelfConfidence #LowSelfEsteemSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4Bw0FVNv5DzefGfz8kmFlt?si=ROOv399zSuSaQyFcobmoLQApple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/in-for-uestioning-with-ah-kim/id1602941134
Have you ever dated someone with kids from a previous relationship? Can you date someone with kids? If so, how many kids is too much. This is the age of the baby momma and baby daddy. Walking into a package deal can be very challenging for some people. It takes a lot of patience and selfishness to make a ready made family work. Not all of us are capable of doing this. Does it make you selfish if you are not willing to accept children who are not yours as your own? Can you truly love someone else's children? We live in a time where there is a high probability that the person you marry will already be a parent. Well, what if your mate has a problem with one of your children? Who's side would you take? Jas and Eric wanted to speak to me about their relationship. As I allowed each of them to unpack their true underlying I realized that their kids seemed to be the focus. Jas felt unheard by Eric regarding an incident involving each of their sons. She felt that her man should've believed her complaint. Eric felt that there should have been more conclusive evidence for him to take her side. This has seemed to cause a divide between the two of them, causing Eric to feel that Jas doesn't like his son. I chose not minimally intervene, allowing each of them to express their emotions. It's difficult to side against your child. Is unwavering loyalty too much for your mate to request? I think expecting to reach a resolve during one meditation would be wishful thinking! #BlendedFamilyIssues #KevinSamuels #SingleMotherDating #blacklove #DatingAdviceForMen #stepfamily #DatingSomeoneWithKids #relationshipadvice#toxicrelationship #DatingMenWithKids #babymama #charlestonwhite #badhabits #communicationskills #divorce Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4Bw0FVNv5DzefGfz8kmFlt?si=C-woRG1RSsSfe48mFyIUHgApple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/in-for-uestioning-with-ah-kim/id1602941134
The “Little Mermaid” is starring Halle Bailey as princess Ariel. Halle Bailey is a a beautiful black female with a beautiful voice. Princess Ariel is historically played by a white female. Although it should not be a surprise that Caucasian’s and nonblack people are having an issue with a black, African American, character playing Ariel, I am surprised about the excitement that Black America is having for this Black female Princess. In my observations, since the age of 15, I feel that Disney strategically teases us with black characters. Disney rarely allows us to enjoy the black characters. I think Disney uses black characters as a selling tool. I believe that every time Disney uses a black character, they view it as an opportunity to display diversity. African Americans are never given a large black ensemble in Disney animations.  Therefore I believe that the “Little Mermaid” will be another Disney tease and let down. My first experience with the disappointment was in the “Lion King” movie. In the “Lion King” film we had James Earl Jones as Mufasa and Madge Sinclair as Sarabi. The film begins with two strong African American voices as King and Queen, yet the voice of young Simba is voiced by Jonathan Taylor Thomas, a white male. Although young Nala was voice by Laura Williams, a black female, Disney Strategically changed adult Nala to Moira Kelly, a nonblack female. I believe this was strategically done to match the adult voice of Matthew Broderick. The cast was cleverly changed from a black King and Queen to a nonblack King and Queen. The next film is the “Princess and the Frog.” The beautiful black animation in the “Princess and the Frog” was quickly taken from us by the Princess being turned into a frog very early in the film. The Princess was given a nonblack Prince and a stereotypical familybackground. Her mother was was a seamstress to a rich, white male. Her father was the hard working Black man who never got the life he wanted. As we move to the movie “Soul,” we have Jamie Fox and Angela Basset being used to sell the film as a story about a black Jazz musician. Again we see the black Character quickly taken from us. He was given a weak, beta male personality. He was also emasculated by Disney. For the dominant portion of the film, the character had the voice of a white woman coming from his body. These tactics are strategically done by Disney to remove the blackness from the characters. In a change of companies, Sony Pictures did a similar thing in the film, “Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse.” In this film we have Myles Morales, an Afro Latino male. In the film credits, Shameik Moore was not labeled Spider-Man. He was listed as Myles Morales. Sony redirected the audience from the black character by, first, making him Afro Latino, then by adding multiple Spider-Man characters. Not only was all the other Spider-Man characters nonblack, one of the characters was even a female Spider-Man. Lastly, the actual film plot was more about the adult, white male Spider-Man than Myles Morales. In the film “Encanto” by Disney, Latinos are given the opportunity to have their culture beautifully displayed. The cast appears to be largely Latino. What I find most angering is that the film displays beautifully brown skin that is not African American.Disney’s “The Proud Family” is a display of black stereotypes. I believed Disney uses this cartoon as a way of making fun of black people. This is why I’m not excited about the “Little Mermaid.”
Roland Martin is someone I don’t like. He as a YouTube show in which he brings attention to, and presents news coverage within the black community that we would not hear anywhere else. Although I appreciate his mission and motivation, I do not like his presentation of the information. Roland Martin, to some, is the voice of black America. Unfortunately, I don’t think that is a good thing, Roland Martin represents the angry black victim. He was mentored to stay militant. I understand keeping the information authentic and relatable, but it can also come across as being decisive. Also the militant nature may only be welcomed by his loyal followers. In order to have a greater impact and make change, information needs to be delivered in a way that can reach the masses. Although I do not like Roland Martin,, I still support his show by watching every day. I was even going to donate to Roland Martin Unfiltered. He was simply asking for $50 from 2,000 people to raise $100,000. I don’t think that is too much to ask for. The problem I have is that he boasts that he owns the Black Star network. If he is going to repeatedly make mention to this, I feel he should be able to fund his endeavor. More importantly, what caused me to pull back my donation was watching the way he communicates with guests who have opposing viewpoints. Roland does not allow anyone to speak, and he deflects conversations. I don’t think he shows the proper respect. I feel he lacks high level professionalism. Roland has no intention in dialogs with guests. He has an ego driven goal to one-up his guests by having the last word. I feel this is unproductive. Roland attacks any guest who doesn’t allow him to make them a victim. Am I wrong for my opinion?
This past Sunday I had the privilege and pleasure of attending the Blackboy Art show. It was a blessing and a wonderful experience. I enjoyed being able to support my brothers and sisters in the art community. Thankfully there was a large turnout. My attendance prompted and motivated me to talk about today's subject matter. I feel that, as black people, we don't support our artists enough. Just recently there has been an uproar in reference to Angela Bassett being snubbed by the Oscars. Also, her reaction or non reaction was in question. I believe that we are at fault for this situation. Our lack of support for Spike Lee is the reason why we are surprised by a win or non-win of a black actor/actress. Hollywood feels that, for the black community, the nomination is the win. If we don't support our artists, why should anyone else. Spike lee has put out quality films displaying the black experience since the 80's and has never been appreciated for it by the black community. In his first film he became an actor due to not having the money to pay a professional actor. Whether you are black or not, trying to be any form of artist full time is very difficult. Even Van Gogh was poor while alive. He exchanged paintings for rent money. Being a black artist makes it even more difficult to receive proper recognition. How many black directors can you name? How many black actors/actresses can you name? More importantly, how many up and coming black directors, actors/actresses so you know of? We cannot wait until Oscar night to be in support of our artist. We cannot wait until after they do not win to support. We cannot just support in spirit. Physically purchasing artwork, downloading music, and watching films is the type of support that is needed. Revenue is what allows directors and producers to make more films, become recognized. With more films comes more employment for actors/actresses and film crew. Consistency in creativity is what is needed. Support is what allows the consistency. An Oscar or Golden Globe award wouldn't be necessary if we supported each other in creating quality work. Do you agree that it is our fault that Angela Basset did not win the Oscar? #Oscars2023 #oscars #oscars2023nominations #jamieleecurtis #academyawards #whowontheoscars2023 #oscars2023winners #angelabassett #angela bassettreactiontolosingoscar #angelabassettdidnothingwrongattheoscars #angelabassettoscarlossreaction #angela bassettaustinbutlerholdinghands #angelabassettoscarsnub #Snubs #angelabassettdidthething
How many women believe they have what it takes to be a wife? Is it the the wedding, the ring, the title or the responsibility that they are looking for? To feel that you deserve something means that you display the qualities worthy of what you are asking for. Entitlement is a disorder that many people suffer from. We exist in an era where hard work is a thing of the past. It is rarely taught or modeled. Older and even the younger generations are guilty of this false expectation. Divorce is consistently rising due to individuals not having the preparation for the difficulties that comes with marriage. Married is defined as a combination or mixture of two or more elements. Having the personality and finding a compatible partner is one of the hardest things that a person will try to uncover. Many of us look to the wrong sources to educate ourselves on how a relationship is meant to work. We rely on celebrities, books and life coaches as role models. The break down or low existence of two parent homes makes it easy for those who are not married to seek other resources as mentors. It takes self acknowledgement to know whether or not you are even capable of providing the very things you are asking for. Marriage is a long term commitment that is not meant to be easy. It is not a fantasy with a Hollywood movie ending. The 'single mother,' and/or, the 'single mother' household has become the new normal that is being blames as the cause for many issues in the black community. I've even heard that the black, single mom is a young boys worst enemy. Single mothers have the responsibility of raising boys to men, while, at the same time, being asked to keep them away from harm. The black family is no more, and it has been this way for some time. Why have women found themselves in this position time and time again? Is it the liberation chip on the shoulder that is keeping men away? What responsibility or accountablility do men claim in this situation? Are women unfairly being judged by their parenting and/or guidance, or is it the history of men that breed generations of bad men? What have men of today been taught by the men of yesterday?
How black men escape emasculation. After a lot of thought. I came to a realization that Queen & Slim was a display of many men with beta male tendencies and personalities. Although, still a good movie, I talk about how this film may be a problem of how emasculation is influenced. Maybe, the writer, Lena Waithe is quietly addressing personal experiences and trauma that she may have dealt with. Possibly, Melina Mastoukas, the director is doing the same. Can we find a way to change the agenda? Why is there an attack on Black men? In every television program, black men are being emasculated. There are no strong Black male figures on television. What makes it worse is that the black woman is now taking part in making it difficult for black men to escape emasculation. We should not defeminize women, and women should not assist the media in emasculating Men. #betamales #signsofbetamales #behaviorsofbetamales #traitsofbetamales #alphamale #whatmakesyouabetamale #betamalepersonality #datingabetamalewebsite: https://www.giftedmediallc.com/YouTube music: https://youtube.com/@ahkimakmSoundCloud: https://on.soundcloud.com/JquP2bwZwrD3w8qu6
While Queen & Slim is one of my favorite movies, I still have yet understood what the real message was? I am unsure what the takeaway of a bad situation going more wrong does for the viewer. Lena Waithe is an incredible writer. Were the really innocent? Is killing a racist cop in self defense really self defense? Is fleeing the scene the best way to prove your innocence?
