Wow, Audrey's mother is pure evil! If I was Audrey, I'd hire someone every 14 months or so to beat the snot out of my mother for what she did. Let her spend a year recovering, then have her beaten up again. And courts and judges should be held accountable for the unjust decisions they make, and these decisions should be reversible. Audrey should get her house and her daughter back. New policies should be drafted to ensure such travesties of justice cannot happen to others.

Oof! Difficult episode to listen to. So unbelievably angry with my mother, complete rage. I have to think there must have been some depression or PTSD preventing her from being more proactive or attuned to what was happening. There’s legal aid services, go to the news with your story, or picket in front of the courthouse or her mother’s home with a huge sign. But have to keep in mind she was recovering so I guess it was just the perfect conditions all around for something like this to happen.

I agree that real life friends can help avoid this kind of drama, but this was Covid so she gets a pass from me.

I'm sorry for listening to this episode. it's bad on its own. in comparison to previous episodes (any of them) is totally subpar. Why would an adult listen to pregnancy advice from an unknown lady on Facebook?

She ends the episode saying people ask how could this happen to such a "strong" independent woman? That was a facade...she wanted to be saved. She wanted to check out and let someone else call the shots. She willingly stuck her head in the sand.

It's women like her that make women look bad. Stop having kids from men you barely know. Talking about Daddy issues. She is such a stereotype.

I’m completely hooked on Betrayal: Weekly! Every episode is so gripping and well-paced, with storytelling that pulls you in from the very start. The hosts do an amazing job at unraveling complex emotions, real-life experiences, and twists that you just don’t see coming. I love how they dive deep into the psychological aspects of betrayal, making it both thought-provoking and captivating. wtf. Who does the editing? At 39:11, it just skips. Ruining the whole story.
