 Dean Stott served in the UK's Special Force until a parachuting accident in 2011 forced him into retirement. Cue a career as a security consultant working for presidents and the Royal family. He's learnt his skill as a leader in the most hostile environments - extortion, kidnapping and civil war , all scenarios that Dean has successfully navigated.  He now excels as an adventurer and world record holder, having cycled solo along the longest motorable road in the world ‘The Pan American Highway’, becoming the fastest person to cycle the 14,000 mile route. Who could possibly forget the incredible story of the Thia football team who got trapped inside a cave? 12 boys all under 16 and their coach, stuck inside a complex cave system that was rapidly filling with water. Our guest on this episode is John Volanthen, the cave diver who alongside an incredible team of equally skilled divers rescued the boys in what can only be described as a miracle. Underpinned by some incredible decision making. And out of the box thinking.
