I would gamble my bank balance that Kate was on meth 9 years ago and hadn't slept in days when she posted to Facebook. I've read cracker rambles & that's exactly the usual style of someone who's 3 days old.

I wonder why the parents never chased up the phone data before. I would call the provider, tell them the story and run through possible account names. It's not something you need a private investigator for.

The section on child online safety. Mr insta/fbook was damningly questioned in court over in the USA. He was asked basically why insta states something along the line of "the following may contain child ab**e are you sure you wish to proceed" (or something to that effect), and then allows people to see this/these. His excuse was oh it's the algorithm, we can't stop it etc etc. Sickening really. A bit like that recent movie re trafficked children being rescued, ppl funding done for s* ab*se!

So why the coronial process and not the inquest? I'm only a few episodes in and it sounds like someone or more than one was taking advantage of this girl, to be covered up. I want to make clear I'm not pointing fingers at a family but people outside of the family: people from the town, locals or locals kids.

To the Creators, look into the cremating of the phone. I am knowledgeable in this area, nothing with a battery should go into a cremator as it explodes in the process causing damage to the special bricks inside the cremator. It could* have been removed prior to the cremation if they are using the same equipment as what is on the mainland.
