Description

Who Killed JFK? For 60 years, we are still asking that question. In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's tragic assassination, legendary filmmaker Rob Reiner teams up with award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien to tell the history of America’s greatest murder mystery. They interview CIA officials, medical experts, Pulitzer-prize winning journalists, eyewitnesses and a former Secret Service agent who, in 2023, came forward with groundbreaking new evidence. They dig deep into the layers of the 60-year-old question ‘Who Killed JFK?’, how that question has shaped America, and why it matters that we’re still asking it today.

Is it any wonder that Americans have such a level of distrust in their government? This podcast gives a very good reason why that distrust exists.

awesome subject matter, to bad the rich creators of this podcast are more interested in making sure each episode is loaded and bogged down with commercials. The creators say they are so interested in who killed JFK but only if they are making huge sums of advertising dollars 💵 💰. Really gets annoying

Curious about Lyndon Johnson's involvement. He kept engagement in Vietnam, was a good ole boy with lots of support and connections in Dallas, but was in harms way being in the motorcade.

You def did a good job with running all that ad. The whole series can be compressed into 2 to maximum 3 episodes. Read news articles on this and save yourselves the valuable time.

Loved the series, most of which I knew already but highly recommend for people trying to make sense of this mystery. Would have been beneficial to explore Oswald’s time in New Orleans a little more closely. I would like this team to investigate Judith Vary Baker’s account of Oswald during this time period, meaning separating truth from hearsay. If 1/10th of what she claims is true, we have a story here.

Each episode is a string of admitted suspicions, hearsay, and conjecture that ends in "so that PROVES XYZ." Skimpy evidence and extremely loose connections amid normal procedures don't prove anything. Could Meathead's conclusion be accurate? It's possible. Could it be partially right and wrong? Probably. Could it be completely off? Yep. Did someone else kill Kennedy? We don't know. We might learn more as contemporary documented evidence is released. And we might not. Life's like that sometimes.

They could've got through this in an hour without all the padding. Intriguing story poorly presented

I have been to where JFK was shot and stood where Lee was standing during the shooting. There was no way he could've fired all the shots. The government has sealed evidence in this case that they refuse to let the public see. It was sealed for 50 years and then resealed 10 years ago for another 50. If they're not hiding anything why would they seal any evidence?
