Really appreciate this episode. it's so timely and relevant for this generation. I was a victim of child abuse for 10 years and later also got into an abusive relationship with a Pastor's son who actually negotiated with me for making out etc. When I put the breaks saying I wanted to do things the right way and didn't want to get physical before marriage, I was told to pray and decide what I wanted. my only question when I got out of that relationship was ..what is the church doing about abuse and why isn't it talking about it? Among the adults and among the youth. My abuser was my cousin who was the Leader of the Youth fellowship and the Pastor's son is the leader of the Youth in his church today. it's funny how some thing as violent as abuse is not addressed in the church. I'm writing from India, and grateful for this discussion.
