The ~ Seismyc ~ Housecast is a series of (live) DJ mixed compilations and live performance recordings, comprised of the the best tunes from every genre of House Music... House is a feeling.~ Seismyc ~, a 15+ year veteran behind the decks and a founding member of the H3LIUM DJ crew, representing all three coasts of the US, found his way to the house music community by way of the filthy warehouses, airplane hangars, fields, theatres, and any other location where producers and promoters of Denver, Colorado’s early underground house music scene could throw a party. His early musical influences included the standard host of veterans like DJ Dan and Donald Glaude, Bad Boy Bill, Charles Feelgood, Frankie Knuckles, Deep Dish… and while artists, genres and tastes in the global electronica scene have ebbed and flowed, for ~ Seismyc ~ one genre has always shined through... House. After his first 15 years of dancing and fist pumping to the eargasmic beats of the world’s legendary house music producers and DJ's, with a push from a friend, he got behind the decks and dropped his first beat. Since then, he's rocked the decks across the nation and the globe, opening for legends such as Stonebridge, Eric Prydz, Markus Schulz, The Shapeshifters, ATFC, Ivano Bellini, Lizzie Curious, Chrissi D!, and Austin Leeds among a many others. Over the first few years, he teamed up with Domas (Los Angeles), and Damian (Miami) to form the DJ crew H3LIUM-3. Together they have gained momentum, gigging together at some of the hottest events in the US, and have also made their way internationally, touring places like Berlin, Cancun, London and Ibiza. Another throwback worth bringing back! October 26th through 28th, 2012 was a weekend full of milestones and memories, past, present and future, for the H3LIUM crew and for what we've come to think of as the "H3LIUM Family". For the first time, the entire H3 crew returned to the city and venue where H3LIUM-3 was originally founded (Deity, Brooklyn, New York), to share the love of house music and celebrate with many of the friends who have supported us over the years.
A re-publish from the H3LIUM crew podcast in support of the people and framily of South Florida, as they recover from hurricane Ian. Love you!!October 2013, H3LIUM DJ's Lizzie Curious, Damian, Ronnie G, and ~Seismyc~ dropped their signature sounds on South Florida's finest House Music Soldiers. H3 took control of the decks at the famed South Beach nightspot, Tantra, for an evening of tasty beats with the Miami based Delicious Party. The following week, Seismyc and Damian went back-to-back at Key West's hot spot, Rumor. The good vibes and bangin' house beats were flowing strong, and the H3family took the events to the next level!! This latest H3LIUM Crew podcast episode is a live mixed compilation of tracks from the ~Seismyc~ playlist for those events. It captures the energy and essence of H3's week long tour of South Florida. Here it is, the March edition of the ~Seismyc~ "Traces" Housecast series. This live mixed compilation is a House music rollercoaster, intended to take you through a full range of Seismyc-ly inspired emotions. Starting off with some of the hand-raising electro sounds by artists like Tune Brothers, Tony Arzadon, and Bingo Players, the mix fades into a more sunny day to soulful vibe with tracks by Raul Cremona, Audio Jacker, Patrick M, and The Martinez Brothers. Of particular note in this month's mix, the transition to the more high energy finale kicks into high gear starting with a "CuriousMashup" by fellow H3LIUM resident, Lizzie Curious (the classic vocal by Ce Ce Peniston "Finally" with Michael Woods and Chris Lake's "Domino's"). Rounding out the mix and coming full circle are some rippin' and a-tearin' electro beats by DBN, David Jones and Dean Coleman. The new ~Seismyc~ mix series "Traces" kicks off with a track by some of my favorite artists in the world of EDM, StoneBridge, Jaxx Da Fishworks, and singer/songwriter Krista Richards. The track is titled Tomorrowland (MC Flipside Remix), soon to be released under the Hed Kandi label. THIS TRACK IS HUGE!!! Big ups and best wishes to all that contributed to that track. As for the rest of this mix, I was already excited to kick off the new live mixed series, but it has turned out WAY better than I could have expected. Please have a listen a judge for yourself. I personally can't keep my hands out of the air when I listen to it!The mix features several other huge tracks/promos off the Stoney Boy label, as they are cranking out dancefloor devastating house music bomb after bomb. Some of the other artists showcased in this mix include J-C, My Digital Enemy, Chris Moody and Dion Mavath, Stereo Sun, Inaya Day and Crystal Waters, Huggy and Dean Newton, Belocca and Jorgensen, Spencer & Hill, Whitenoize, Fricia & Lamboy, and Carl Cox, just to name a few! The November edition of the ~Seismyc~ Housecast, "Alias" is a live mixed compilation featuring a couple HUGE new tracks by up-an-comers Lawrence & Celauro, as well as AD Tag Team, Wally Lopez and MYNC, John Modena, Shermanology, Junior Sanchez, and Paul Thomas just to name a few. While keeping with the ~Seismyc~ mantra of soundwave inuendo, "Alias" is also a double entendre, as this mix is also destined to be my first "resident showcase mix" for the new/upcoming H3LIUM crew podcast mix series.
