Our hope is that we attract listeners not just from San Francisco but from all walks of life, all over the world. People who are questioning their sexuality or who live in a place with no lesbian subculture.

We're back!!!!! And, J9 joins us back in studio! QNews: j.Church finds dot429.com, a new social networking site for career oriented LGBT people.  Shannon Wentworth, takes her voluntour idea states side with Live Sweet.  Also, grab your bathing suit and start working on your tan, because Aqua Girl is right around the corner. Rainbow Rumors: Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn split, sad news for lesbians everywhere.  We can't get enough of lesbian characters on TV, there's a bisexual storyline on show Nurse Jackie.   Also, there's rumors there will be a sequel to Mullholland Drive! Interview: The Bruises join us in studio to talk about their new album, how they came up with their band name, and why they're big in Belgium!

Drew Barrymore and Kate Moennig (Shane from the L Word) play girlfriends in a new holiday flick.   DJ dirtyKURTY explains how the popular SF Holiday party "Happy Ho's" originated.  She talks about her upcoming album and what she's got going on in San Diego these days.

QNews: Finally, an actual plan for repealing DADT!  Why did hate crimes against LGBT persons rise 28% last year? Rainbow Rumors: Do gay stereotypes need to be toned down in mainstream television programming? Also, j. and Charlie discuss their time on the Sweet Caribbean cruise and get a chance to catch up with Dani Campbell and her thoughts on Tila Tequila's coming out as a lesbian over Twitter last week and whether there's anything going on between her and Brianna Stockton.
Oregon joins us in the studio to reminisce of Halloween debauchery. Q News: Obama signs federal hate crime bill, and a number of notable douchebags make ridiculous comments about it.  After receiving 4,000 emails regarding the removal of a children's book in which one character has two moms, Scholastic puts it back on the book fair list.  And William and Mary crown their first genderqueer homecoming queen. Rainbow Rumors: Chaz (formerly known as Chastity, daughter of Cher) denies ever being a lesbian, a magazine digitally enhances Beth Ditto of The Gossip to look MORE voluptuous, and an upcoming reality show The Real L Word promises to be REAL and not scripted. Shine Louise Houston of Pink and White Productions joins us in the studio to discuss what it takes to be a queer porn star, how she broke into the industry, and where she hopes queer porn will go.
Charlie and J. talk about their excitement for the upcoming Sweet Caribbean Cruise. QNews: Prop8 case gets an early hearing.  Also, Buju Banton plays San Francisco, which is disappointing.  What's even more disappointing - SF Weekly flubs the coverage of the protest. Rainbow Rumors: Kate Moenning names her fave L Word make-out partners.  Reality show, Survivor, has a new lesbian contestant!  And Charlie vies for a part in the lesbian story line on Sex and the City. Interview: Laura Spanjian, who is running for Supervisor in Distrct 8, joins us in the studio.  We talk about Prop 8, whether Obama will actually fulfill his promises to the gay community, her cost-conscious green plan, and what exactly the Board of Supervisors do.

QNews: Texas Attorney General appeals ruling which allows gay couples to divorce in Texas.  20 Year Anniversary of the police occupation of the Castro!  Whoa! Rainbow Rumors: Jessica Capshaw, Bette's assistant on the L Word, had a lesbian crush on Bette (who didn't?) and now plays a lesbian on Grey's Anatomy...we're seeing a trend here.  The Real L World of Los Angeles (which promises to be anything but REAL) is hosting an open casting call.  We're still waiting for the Real Lesbians of SF . . . it'll happen.  Rachel Maddow, hero to butch lesbians everywhere - makes Elle Magazine's hot personal style list!!!! Go Rachel! Interview: Ed Varga, Head Homo of Homo A Go Go, comes in and divulges all of his secrets as far as how he makes Homo A Go Go work.  Homo A Go Go has developed a reputation for featuring musical acts before they "break" - for example, The Gossip, so we wanted to know how he picks his acts . . . or is it just a sick sixth sense?

QNews: South Africa files complaint with the UN regarding treatment of Caster Semanya, Elton John denied adoption in the Ukraine, Will "Protect Marriage" make it on the ballot in November? Rainbow Rumors: Jane Lynch stars in yet another of our favorite television series.  Olivia Wilde covers GQ.  And Lady Gaga announces, dedicated her VMA to the homos!  And, Ellen replaces Paula on Idol. Meliza Banales joins us in the studio to discuss Kink on the Cheap (and just in time for Folsom!).  Meliza wanted to note that the a good cane should make a "whooosh" sound.  And as always - don't be crazy.  "Kink on the Cheap" is at your own risk, but isn't risk half the fun? ;)

Q News: Does See's Candies pale in comparison to other candy makers in terms of equality for LGBT employees?  A new documentary, "Silent Partners," spotlights the experience of the partners of gay service members and more news on the Obama Administration's steps to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Rainbow Rumors: Jodie Foster prepares to show off her "Beaver."  A new movie about Greta Garbo focuses on her relationship with Marlene Dietrich and other women.  "Vagina Mom" makes first appearance on Showtime's "Nurse Jackie" (and for the record Dr. Cooper is the male doctor on the show, we got our doctors confused). California tries to soften the effects of Prop 8.  Rainbow Rumors: Charlie tells us how she really feels about Gimme Sugar and the new lesbian plot lines in mainstream media.  Interview: Oregon joins us to talk with Summer Triolo, a former inmate at Fluvanna Women's Correctional Center, who was discriminated against as a result of her appearance being more towards the butch end of the spectrum.  The AP broke this story, last month, and we wanted to speak with Summer to get the details.  Turns out there was a lot more going on in terms of ill-treatment against women than just discrimination against those considered "butch". Interview: Col. Cammermeyer joins us to discuss the current state of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.  Why is Obama dropping the ball on repealing this archaic policy?  And does she think gay people should continue to join the military - her answer may surprise you.

Aguilar, who Madeline Lim inspired to become a filmmaker, and Meliza Banales discuss their short film “Getting Off” which is premiering as part of Frameline 33’s Dirt and Desire.
