I just Listed to the Acetyl-fentanyl episode, including discussions with the CDC liasons and Katherine, am Emergency Medicine doctor. I knew going in, before I dl'd episode that it was centered around Rhode Island communities, and seeing as how I'm in Florida...I almost didn't play it. HOWEVER I am glad I did. I had to study surgical pharmacology in college and I had really already been fascinated by chemistry and medicine for the majority of my childhood, and I've remained a science nerd since. That being said, regardless of region or state, the discussion of this API was enlightening, especially when the doc mentioned that during the 50's or 60's, people had been in the process of pseudo investigations w/ Ace-Fen and the observations, of which amounted to how much of the drug people used recreationally, rats studies, etc. Then nothing really happened out of the API as a NDA, trials and so forth. That being said, the flip side was that other states, organizations, and collegial scient
