It's something many women are looking for.  And yet, most don't even know how to recognize it.  They also don't know how to get there.it's a balanced life. It's that life that feels refreshing. Harmonious. One in which we are living out our purpose and feel contentment and peace.  We seem to easily recognize a life that is OUT of balance.  Chaos. Disorganization.  Stress. Overwhelm.  Not enough time.  But why can't we recognize what it feels like when our life IS in balance? That's probably because once you're out of balance, it's hard to know how to bring it back.  Like a compass that needs regular reorienteering when the path to the destination gets off track, our life needs to be reorienteered when it gets off track. But you need to know HOW to reorient our compass. So how do we bring an out of balance life back into balance? That's what we talk about in this podcast. Support the show

It’s one of the fundamental foundations of a healthy relationship.  When it’s missing, you can expect constant suspicion. When it’s broken, it can cause unbearable hurt and pain.  But  when it’s restored, it can actually strengthen your relationship and make it more authentic then ever.I’m talking about trust.  And that is the topic of today’s podcast.Trust hold relationships together.  But when someone breaks that trust, it can be destructive.Trust isn't just about what you expect from others. It’s also about trusting yourself when it comes to your gut instinct and sticking to your boundaries. If you don’t trust yourself, if you have weak boundaries, if you don't speak up for yourself,  then you’ll hand over all responsibility to your partner when it comes to your entire relationship, without taking any ownership of it.Can you trust someone again if they break your trust?Absolutely!  But it takes work. For both of you. This podcast presents 6 strategies you can take if you are the offending partner AND 6 strategies you can take if you are the offended one. Support the show (https://paypal.me/rawandnakedjen?locale.x=en_US)

Many women are looking for it. They often feel selfish when they find it. In many cases, they grow older and STILL haven't found it.  And yet, it's the root of lasting good health and happiness. What is it?It's self love, and that's the topic of today's podcast. There are illusions and misconceptions over what constitutes self love.  We think making a date for the spa or a massage is self love.  Or maybe spending more money on ourselves is self love.  How about a bubble bath, that's self love, right? Those practices might be seen as self care.  But self care without self love may really be what's selfish. Before you judge, take a listen.  This podcast is a biggie.  The topic of self love is ground zero for all else in our journey's of self discovery. If you don't love yourself, you'll not know how to truly love others.  Your relationships will suffer.  Your self respect will sufffer. For me, loving myself meant knowing that I was responsible for the care and protection of that little girl that was me.  It was empowering myself to love myself AS IS.That changed everything. So what constitutes true self love? That's what today's podcast is all about. Support the show (https://paypal.me/rawandnakedjen?locale.x=en_US)
It's not something we learn in school. It's as important, if not more important, than technical skills. Many people grow up and STILL don't have it. And yet, it's one of the most vital life skills.Emotional intelligence.Knowing yourself, knowing others, and knowing how to interact with others is a vital skill to getting along in the world. There are a number of components of emotional intelligence, including self awareness. If you can increase your self awareness, you can become much more emotionally intelligent.Although some people are born with more empathy, which makes them naturally more emotionally intelligent, it doesn't mean we can't cultivate it as we grow.In today's episode, you'll learn how to recognize emotional intelligence and how you can enhance your emotional IQ by becoming more self aware.Support the show (https://paypal.me/rawandnakedjen?locale.x=en_US)
Do you struggle to achieve a goal? Take action and make things happen? One very effective (and fun) way to achieve a goal is to use mental imagery. It's a technique reminiscent of a child's imaginary play.  Close your eyes and visualize what it will be like to make your goal a reality. What does it feel like?  What emotions do you feel?  Imagine yourself a year from now actually having accomplished that goal.  Now how do you feel?  Content? Satisfied?  Proud of yourself?Mental imagery not only allows you to see your goal in your mind's eye, but it increases your expectation of success, enhances your motivation, creates an emotional attachment to the goal which physiologically, makes you more likely to achieve the goal. This is a relaxing, enjoyable technique and I'm going to teach you how to do it in just 5 minutes a day. Could this be the breakthrough you've been looking for?Support the show (https://www.rawandnakedliving.com/raw-women-of-courage-tribe-2/)
What do you think is more important for life success, talent or grit?Grit is the strength of mind that enables a person to endure pain or hardshipOther words for grit are backbone, mettle, courage, bravery, plunk, guts, endurance, fortitude, chutzpha, resilience.Talent is a gift that will help us achieve great things in life. But talent alone won't help you overcome obstacles, to perservere when the going gets tough. Grit will help you work through it and bounce back.Practice perfects our talents.  And in the practice you find the grit.  How much do you have?Grit is enough to help you achieve 99% of your goals. Grit will help you through the tough times in your career and in your relationships. If you have the ability to persist and maintain a positive attitude, you can be successful at anything to which you put your mind.Feel your're not strong enough?  Lack grit? There are tasks and habits you can do every day to help you strengthen your grit muscle to overcome obstacles in any area of life.Listen in and learn how.Support the show (https://www.rawandnakedliving.com/raw-women-of-courage-tribe-2/)

Do you struggle to pay attention? To manage your highly sensitive feelings? To show the “right” emotions?  Do you parent or teach a child that is highly sensitive? Do you worry that life is going to be hard for you or for this child… forever? If your answer is yes to any of these questions you must meet today's special guest - best selling author and parent coach Shelley Francis of the Listening Lab in Ft Lauderdale Florida.  Shelley had a successful practice as an audiologist.  But after years of seeing many children with autism and ADHD, she came to the realization that these highly sensitive human beings had less a hearing disability, and more a unique and different way of processing information that needed to be understood.  Eventually, the bulk of her business consisted of highly sensitive humans, a unique aspect of an industry that typically deals only with hearing loss. This realization led her to write her best selling book, "No Child Left Unwrapped" to advocate for a better understanding of the highly sensitive child. The book is a summary of her lifetime of observations, interactions and conclusions of working with children as they processed and dealt with what were often overwhelming feelings and sensations from a chaotic world. It's also relevant for adults who may not have understood and embraced their highly sensitive selves.Shelley's belief is that more and more highly sensitive children are coming into an increasingly chaotic world by design - to invite more compassion and empathy into it.  Our job is to listen to them, help them interpret their emotions so they don't have to hide them, value their gifts, and share them with a world that needs it. Sensitivity is not a weakness.  It's a superpower.
