Hi everyone, this is Niraj from Sydney. Usually, in my previous episode, I interviewed a couple of international students living in Sydney and shared their experiences through the podcast and thank you so much for listening to those podcasts. This is just a quick message I want to share with you guys because the situation has been changed due to this Corona epidemic. This corona Covid 19 pandemic has changed the way we live, our behaviors and our lifestyle. I believe this is something unusual we have ever faced in our lifetime. So, I want to share a message that I have learned from this pandemic.
Hi everyone, I recently visited Kathmandu after two and a half years. I was really excited to meet my family, relatives, friends and spend a good time with them. I also got an opportunity to get connect with a new person in my life. But this visit was not just limited to that. I was actually exploring the possibilities and opportunities to start up business in Nepal. So, I went to the National innovation Center and met Dr. Mahabir Pun. I also get engaged with the aspiring young innovators of the Innovation center where I shared my knowledge and experience from Sydney.

In this episode, I shared about my experience of being a part of four days of entrepreneurial workshops that happened at UNSW university in Sydney and facilitated by the Frank Team. I got an opportunity to learn about how we can start our entrepreneurial journey from the small idea, also learned to test and validate the business model and finally, how to scale it.  Our team worked on an idea of food waste where we were focused on reducing the food waste of local restaurants in Sydney by helping them to sell their surplus food. In this episode, I reflected on the key four lessons I have learned staying for two years in Sydney. These are -  1. We don't need to have a degree to earn money. 2. Life doesn't have to be stable before the '30s.  3. Small things matter in life. 4. Never expect too much from others. In this episode, I am sharing about what I have learned from taking part in The student Leadership Conference back in 2018 during my university days. Besides, I also shared about how accepting one's true self will actually give you happiness because Happiness is within but we keep on searching outside. Also, I have shared about one of the experiences that I had during my initial job hunts in Sydney where I was late for my interview and that really made me realize why it is so important to become punctual in life.

My only purpose is to create a community where we share our learning to others with Selfless.  Every years thousands of international students come here in Sydney to fulfil their dream but honestly, it's not an easy here. We have to work hard and we have to go through different circumstances which sometime can make us so frustrated in our life. But, we should fight back and create a hope in our life. I hope my experience will be something valuable in your life and I hope you will share yours too. Please do share your thoughts which will help me to know about you and I can learn from you guys as well.
