In July 2000 the body of Jessica Currin, a vibrant young woman from Mayfield Kentucky, was found burned and mutilated in a ball field. For years the police made a poor attempt to solve the case and left it to be unsolved. A local woman took it into her own hands to research and keep pushing the murder into the public eye. That woman was Sarah Galbreath, and this story is as much about her as it is Jessica Currin. In 1933 the U.S.S. Akron, a 785 foot long airship, was supposed to take it's maiden voyage from Detroit to Huntington West Virginia. On October 10th people in Gallipolis Ohio saw an airship breaking up and catching fire across the Ohio River beyond the town of Point Pleasant.
