One of the realities in the current economy is the changing dynamics of the workforce as more people swap the security of a 9-to-5 job for the flexibility of freelancing. It’s rapidly changing not only the way we work but also the way we think about work, view clients, and negotiate with those who deliver services to us. On this episode, I discussed with Patrick Ndifon II on Freelancing and his career journey. Patrick Ndifon is a tech social entrepreneur, product manager, web developer, digital transformation & innovation consultant. He holds certificates and has acquired digital skills training in the above-mentioned areas from organizations like FreeCodeCamp, IBM, Udemy, openSAP, Google, etc. As a tech social entrepreneur, he co-founded and currently serve as Managing Director for his technology non-profit – PSIFON Org. PSIFON is a tech non-profit helping startups and organizations leverage technology to drive productivity towards increasing profits and enlarging impact margins. Over the last 3 years, PSIFON has assisted dozens of businesses and organizations in this regard. Additionally, thousands of persons have been impacted through her  training and workshops. As a product manager, he has worked on several tech and non-tech products in the areas of fashion & accessory, agriculture, photography, e-commerce etc. Current, Patrick is building a tech academy product at PSIFON Org. that is aimed at impacting 10,000 persons with digital skills by 2025. As a web developer, Patrick manages his own software development agency where he delivers top-notch websites using modern tools and technologies like WordPress or the Full JavaScript stack. His clients range from startups to individuals from Europe, US and Africa.
