Description

Here I provide bite sized meditations which include basic things such as sitting, walking, standing, and lying down and more complex things such as reading, writing and talking. Two complex series of meditations I provide practical things you can do to overcome attachment and fear. The meditations on attachments include the charms and entanglements of family life, social life, and our interactions with nature. Meditations on fears include the constantly dangling threats of losing wealth, losing work, and losing identity. The aim of the waking up to meditation series is to begin each day and each activity with a sense of creativity as opposed to habit.

This is the first session in a basic meditation series. It consists of 25 minutes sitting. Do this meditation at the beginning of each day to allow yourself to ease into the day with a sense of gratitude and joy. During the sitting, I draw from affirmations by Louise Hay. https://www.louisehay.com/affirmations/Image by Pexels from Pixabay
