The January Lilith Warrior Cats Project

January talks about the second Warriors book, Fire and Ice, as well as the ill-omened Netflix reality show The Ultimatum. The book has some good character moments, some interesting perspectives on nature, and some pretty dreadful romance--which The Ultimatum also has in spades. But at the end of the day, can we learn anything about breaking out of cultural norms?Content Warnings: Discussion of disability and ableism for a couple minutes around the 26:00 mark. Also, the death of Warriors' cat characters is mentioned throughout the episode (though never in graphic detail).

January reads Warriors 01: Into the Wild and plays Fromsoft's Elden Ring and then talks about both of these things. The book is good! The game is also good, and maybe tells us something about worldbuilding and setting a tone.Elden Ring discussion starts at around 25:30 and includes some VERY light spoilers in case you're trying to avoid those entirely.
