After a week off for "Fall Break" we are back with an all new episode of F-R Racing's Garage Talk! On this week's episode D.J. talks about where he was last week, and recaps his visit to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. When we race at Texas, D.J.'s cowboy hat comes out. Erik decided to pull out the sloth drinking a beer and eating a taco Hawaiian shirt to fit in with the ridiculous theme of today's show. The IndyCar season wrapped up last weekend at Nashville with Josef Newgarden salvaging a bad season with a win. It was his 11th straight season with a win in the IndyCar season. We look back at how the season went, the good, the bad, and how to improve on story telling. Hello to our friends at IndyCar! We really appreciate the listen! (We're kidding, I think). With the breaking news this week that IndyCar is likely returning to Phoenix Raceway for the first time in years, D.J. shares his excitement about having another reason to go to the track. First though, we kick off the show talking about the breaking news that wasn't, Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will be driving for Cadillac F1. This has been largely known, but it is now official. If you watched the Bottom Split Racing Series on  @Stadiumscene  on Monday night you noticed D.J. was logged in, but did not grid or race. He ran into technical troubles with the Meta Quest 3S and trying to race in VR. We are finally back from our summer break! Erik is (mostly) moved in to his new place in Florida and we catch up on what we missed the last few weeks. This week's episode is kind of short because if you can't tell from the box behind him, Erik is moving from Michigan to Florida! He goes over what brought that up. We're also taking next week off since D.J. will be out of town and Erik is moving so its our "Summer Break".The bulk of the show today is dedicated to looking over the 2026 Formula 1 schedule and the big item of note is Monaco is moved to mid-June and F1 will be taking on last part of the Indianapolis 500 directly in television ratings. As you know, we record on Wednesday evening after Wednesday Night Dash (on  ⁨@Stadiumscene⁩ ) and this week has been an absolute struggle. You've noticed the broadcast did not happen live as scheduled Tuesday night and we ran into some scoring problems (maybe) at the end of Wednesday Night Dash. We get into those struggles on today's Garage Talk.First up, we go into the details of how the broadcast fell apart on Tuesday and what D.J. had to do to somewhat rectify the mistake. Practice was held up for over two hours citing a "safety concern" which is fair, but it falls back on our discussion from last week about racing becoming too reliant on analytics and ultimately ruining the product some weeks.Next, we talk about Rick Allen breaking his silence after his surprise exit from NASCAR and sharing his thoughts on the Dale Jr Download, Formula 1 having a hard time getting the price they want for a US TV deal.
