It seems like the word love at times doesn't have the power or intention that it once had. But when we think that we are loved by the God of the universe - chosen and set apart to be the receiver of this amazing love - that's a bigger love than our favorite food. I pray this encourages you to receive the fullness of love the God of the Universe who sent his Son for you to know that you are loved.
What does it mean to be set apart? We've heard I Peter 1:16 - be holy as I am holy. It seems daunting..... but when I think about this - I realize I am set apart for something intentional.....and it is reflect Jesus. You are set apart - for a purpose, when a purpose and on purpose....Jesus has set you apart to be His :)
Being a child.....at some point we were all one. When we were a child - we were given the name and appearance of our parents. As an adopted child, while we may not look like our earthly parents, we may take on their personality or likeness. We are going to borrow Ephesians 1:4 again - before the foundations of the world, God chosen us to be his. Since he is our Heavenly Father (if you know Jesus as your Savior), then you are a Child of God. We bear his likeness...
It's crazy to think that before the beginning of the world, we were chosen by God to be on this earth and this time. Ephesians 1:4 TPT and in love HE chose us before HE laid the foundation of the universe! WHAT? That's crazy - when we realize and declare and truly understand / believe that God CHOSEN US before he made the world.....it begins to change our perspective. I am chosen, I am selected on purpose with a purpose for a purpose.
Recently I've been thinking about "who I am"? Am I really defined by my career? My marital status? My family? Where I grew up? In talking with friends, I find that these questions are not only mine. I was at a leadership conference earlier this year and was reminded that what I "say" impacts who I am. Proverbs 18:21 says life and death are in the power of the tongue..... Would you say to someone else what you say about yourself? Probably not.....
Like so many, we compare ourselves....to others, things, expectations, etc. In the gallery of our lives, we may have displayed art work that should probably be taken down and put in the trash...we were placed on this earth at this time with a purpose, on purpose and for a purpose.... the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. But there is one who knows every day before one came to be..God and He love you just the way you are. Time to hang some new artwork..... Hope you enjoy

What does waiting mean? What do we do when things are not happening in the timing we want. We hear the verse Wait in the Lord (Isaiah 40:31) and may get frustrated and hectic in the waiting. We have a promise and have to wait for the fulfillment.
What comes out of us...words, thoughts, actions.... is likely deep within us. When we realize it, we wonder where did that stuff come from? Today we are doing to get into the well of our life (heart) what's in there, how did it get there, how do we get it out and what are we attracting? It starts by guarding our hearts. Time to dive in.
You've heard of One Hit Wonders in music or even film - that one song that shot to the top of the charts and impacted a culture. Did you know there are one hit wonders in the Bible? Kind of. People who were mentioned one time and are still talked about today. Who we are and what we do is impacting someone and maybe talked about for eternity. You are significant.
Who do you think you are? What have you believed about yourself? What lies are still hidden and how do we get them out of our head so that we can become all we are created to be!
Today is the final in this series 11 Days, 40 years and it all comes to this....God is faithful. Caleb and Joshua waited 40 years and they were as strong as when the promise was given.
