Description

There are numerous controversies in our world today. Unfortunately, our printed, broadcast, and social media outlets do us a disservice by their bias and slanted discussions. This series of podcasts will address medical and non medical controversies from a fact based perspective and point out the misleading perspectives of the aforementioned media. Many of the controversies I will discuss concern topics that many don't want to approach. We will discuss such topics as gender identity, the misnomers of Native American and African American terminology, and explore the definition of an "expert".

While our current White house leadership frets over “climate change”, overpopulation looms as the real and more important existential threat. With the world’s population exceeding 8 billion in February of 2023 and what would be 12 billion had not billions died in conflicts from World War 1 to the present time. This podcast will discuss social, psychologic, and physical stresses that lead to war, famine, disease, as well as behaviors that reduce the reproductive ability of a population and increase the death rate to combat overpopulation.
It has been an observation of many cosmetic and orthognathic surgeons that a dramatic change in an individual’s physical appearance brings about an equally dramatic change in that person’s self-image and attitude.  This podcast will use several examples of an extreme reaction to an individual’s improvement in their outward appearance and how it may have related to perversion and even murder.

Newton’s Third Law of Motion identifies that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. In politics, it amounts to an opposite overreaction.  This podcast explores the over reactions related to the George Floyd killing, the riots in many of our cities, the January 6th protests, and several others where the overreaction to each event significantly and negatively impacted the United States.
The most controversial political tug of war in the United States centers around pro-abortion versus prolife.  The extremists on both sides are unwilling to compromise and do not seem to thinks that the volume of their argument has nothing to do with the validity of it.  This podcast explores where each side is right and where each side is wrong and offers a workable compromise.

While we rightfully attribute overweight and obesity to overeating, the readily available plethora of high calorie snacks and fast foods as well as the sedentary workplace and entrainment availability by our digital world, there is a more underlying cause. This podcast explores this underlying cause and explains why some overeat and never gain weight and others gain weight even while dieting.

This podcast points out three methods to determine a person’s true “gender/sex” and points out how different men and women are by evolutionary selection and how divisive gender terminology has become.
Yes! Anointing a virologist, Dr. Anthony Fauci, as an expert to lead a COVID team was a mistake.  His wrong statements about the origin of the virus, his incorrect assertion that human to human transmission would not occur, his uncertainty about face mask efficacy etc. underscores the fact that he was not an expert and never treated a single COVID patient himself and didn’t listen to those that did.
