This was a great interview. He is a really gifted writer as well as performer. His songs as well as the way Cody Jinks sings is so reminiscent of Hank William's Sr. & Jr., Waylon, Willie, Merle, Prine, etc. - so similar to all the greats we've all heard. His songs have a story to tell and a feeling that comes along with them rather than some of the newer "country" which, in my opinion, belongs in the genre of Top 40/ Pop. His songs have that old school quality of feeling true and real, from the heart. Honest feelings over the good, the bad and ugly. All the realities of life, that seem to be integral in the writing of bona fide country music songs.

Don't want to hear your liberal crap. Really enjoyed the actual music talk though.
