Over the last four decades, he has traded his riches for the life of a monk in his twilight years.... http://www.wisdomsq.com

Line blurs between cinema and video game One normally associates cinema production with a large crew, a big budget, and several months (if not years) spent in the making. Employees turn models for fashion brands In 2018, a well-known lifestyle magazine carried a report on a new trend in fashion and beauty ads. It highlighted several retailers who turned to their own employees as a new talent pool to cast their ads. The companies, which included mass-market brands like ModCloth, Macy’s, and J.Crew, felt that the move brought greater authenticity to the images used to sell clothing and makeup. Now in the 2020s, that trend is witnessing a revival of sorts amidst the coronavirus outbreak. The difference, however, is that the trend is no longer limited to mass-market brands, but has pervaded luxury labels as well.... http://www.wisdomsq.com

Smartphones on trees help contract drivers get orders The sharp drop in business in the past few months has led to cutthroat competition in the gig economy. Plastic waste gets a second life Humans use plastic at a disquieting rate. According to estimates, the world produces around 359 million tons of plastic each year, and only a small percentage of that is recycled. The issue of accumulated heaps of plastic stems from the way our economy grows, namely the constant production of goods, consumption, and disposal of plastic items. However, plastic is a strong, lightweight, durable, and malleable material, which makes it suitable for reuse as construction materials.... http://www.wisdomsq.com

The new Amazon Fresh store has ‘Dash Carts’ Couple of years ago, Amazon opened Amazon Go, a high-tech, partially automated chain of convenience stores. The main talking point about the Go stores is its proprietary "Just Walk Out" technology, which allows customers to purchase products and walk out of the store, without either being checked out by a cashier or a self-checkout station. Last week, Amazon took another big step in the retail market by launching the first Amazon Fresh store in Los Angeles. Several more will open soon in other cities, including Irvine and Northridge in California and Naperville in Chicago.... http://www.wisdomsq.com
