The chonky Ogors are back with a great new Battletome!  This book is much more synergystic, with the ability to build Ogor armies from across all three subfactions.  A great refresh for a classic Sigmar faction.  Of course, Dan wasn’t too hot on this book until he dived into it with Brendan and Dave…now it’s all Gluttons and Cav!  Dave talks to us about the unique way terrain works in Horus heresy, and of course, of the usual shenanigans. Time for a walk in the woods…a Sylvaneth Battletome redux.  This could also be considered podcast comfort food for Dan & Brendan since we both enjoy this army so much.  We are also joined by cohost Dave, not for Liber Nordsturmus, but for a fun reaction to the Friday Preview from the week before.  A great variety of reveals, mostly hits, a few misses.  Of course, the usual podcast fare for our listeners as well.  We will be discussing the new GHB and the Summer Battlescroll in the next episode…my poor SpiteRevs!  Maybe even some Scourge of Aqshy discussion if time allows. Yes, Cogforts are cool…Dan has been enlightened.  As for the rest of the Cities Battletome, another solid delivery.  We really enjoyed discussing all aspects of this tome, from Traits to Artifacts to Units to Armies/Regiments of Renown.  However, Brendan warns that this is a very complex book that will take a lot of study and practice to get the most out of.  Conversely, very rewarding and powerful once mastered.  Watch out for those perpetually charging Cavaliers!  Dave is back as well to discuss the desert planet of Tallarn and its part in the Horus heresy.  Also, be sure to give a listen to a brief announcement about the podcast in Show Close.
