It’s all Bigs and Littles time as we review the new Sons of Behemat Battletome.  Very mixed reaction to this one…overall needs some help and not a lot of interest among the crew.  There were some bright spots though…so give it a listen and decide for yourselves.  We also have fun with event recaps.  Dave and Dan went to Dragonfall, where Dave ran and Dan played in Horus Heresy events.  Brendan and Dan made it to PantsCon and it was a great time with great friends just playing games and hanging out.  Be sure to listen to This or That, were Brendan is rejected (NOT) for his heretical baseball opinions! The chonky Ogors are back with a great new Battletome!  This book is much more synergystic, with the ability to build Ogor armies from across all three subfactions.  A great refresh for a classic Sigmar faction.  Of course, Dan wasn’t too hot on this book until he dived into it with Brendan and Dave…now it’s all Gluttons and Cav!  Dave talks to us about the unique way terrain works in Horus heresy, and of course, of the usual shenanigans. The crew is back together just in time for some Slaanesh fun!  A pile of heroes and a few solid units, but the two Armies of Renown hit it out of the ballpark!  Whether it’s the Twins or Sigvald, both Armies provide the potential for a great gaming experience that will drive your opponents crazy…laughter also guaranteed.  Dave is also back with yet another way to play Heresy…Zone Mortalis.  Be aware that Dan had to reign in his cohosts during This or That…otherwise, we would be well on our way to becoming another sports podcast (LOLOL). Time for a walk in the woods…a Sylvaneth Battletome redux.  This could also be considered podcast comfort food for Dan & Brendan since we both enjoy this army so much.  We are also joined by cohost Dave, not for Liber Nordsturmus, but for a fun reaction to the Friday Preview from the week before.  A great variety of reveals, mostly hits, a few misses.  Of course, the usual podcast fare for our listeners as well.  We will be discussing the new GHB and the Summer Battlescroll in the next episode…my poor SpiteRevs!  Maybe even some Scourge of Aqshy discussion if time allows.
