YOU BELONG!
In Jesus, we’ve been invited into a new family, not to remain isolated and independent. Because, God didn’t create us for isolation but intimacy and connection
Today have we allowed “religion” to form a sense of godliness without grabbing hold of being present in Gods family?
Religion creates the association without the true sense of family.
What is impostor syndrome? Impostor syndrome is a psychological pattern of self doubt in the face of evidence to the contrary—like that voice in your head that tells you you're not good enough.
It’s characterized by anxiety or self-doubt that results from persistently undervaluing one’s competence and active role in achieving success, while falsely attributing one's accomplishments to luck or other external forces.
He doesn't just want you in the room, He wants you to know you BELONG
I chose to look like I belonged, I served in the local church and through being around Gods people I found myself no longer feeling like an outsider or imposter but one of the family.
*Isolation creates separation and hinders your potential and the body of Christ suffers because what God purposed you to do isn’t being fulfilled.
Your not an imposter in Gods family, your a blood bought blood washed child of God, with a father that loves you with an everlasting love!
**You don’t belong in isolation, but at the family table, with a new identity, not hindered in former nature.
We hope that you enjoy this message by Pastor Cole McGown, about being apart of family of believers and the importance of that!
“Worth that comes from people expires. Significance that comes from God is eternal.”
1. You Matter To God
If God took the time to create you, then your life carries meaning.
He loved you at your worst, not your best.
Before you ever did anything right—or wrong—you mattered to God.
“Your circumstances are not a measure of your value or God’s love for you.”
2. You Matter To The Family
You find your purpose in the presence of God, but you live out your purpose in the presence of people.
Family is God’s idea and God’s design for His people.

RESETTING OUR
IDENTITY
Identity: Qualities or beliefs that define a person. The distinguishing character or personality of an individual.
1. True identity starts with knowing we are God’s children.
Romans 8:14
Those who are led by the spirit are the Sons of God.
Identity precedes behavior.
When we know who we are, we can live the way God designed us to live.
2. Our true identity comes from God and is revealed through His Word
Your purpose and identity are discovered in the presence of God, not in the presence of people.
3. Your God-given identity is not defined by your past; it is revealed in your future through Jesus.
Your identity in Christ is not what you have done, but what’s been done for you.
Philippians 3:13
Brethren, I count not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,
Don’t look back, you’re not going that way!
Lamentations 3:22-23
The faithful love of the LORD never ends!
His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
This is the final sermon in our series What's In The Box! Enjoy this message by Pastor Sean Pritchard on Love and the Love that Jesus has for us and how when God's Love is in our life that we are completed and the God size hole in our lives is filled!!
What Is Natural Hope?
Natural hope:
• Wishful thinking
• Emotion-based
• Circumstantial
• Uncertain
What Is Biblical Hope?
Biblical hope:
• Confident expectation
• Rooted in God’s character
• Anchors the soul
• Unshakeable
Why the Difference Matters
Natural hope fades.?Biblical hope sustains.?Natural hope depends on us.?Biblical hope depends on God.
How to Shift Your Hope
1 Focus on Christ, not circumstances
2 Stand on God’s promises
3 Surrender the outcome
4 Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you with hope
We hope that you enjoy this message by Pastor Jarred about not staying in the land that God has called you out of and how our attitude can affect what God is trying to do through us in this new time!
Our attitude determines our altitude and our altitude determines our outlook
“Attitude” is one of the key things we must deal with, not make excuses for!!
This was not gratitude but ATTITUDE!!
Instead of focusing on freedom from sin, from bondage, from slavery and ultimately from hells flame, Gods people got focused on situational context.
God was bringing them to a new place of freedom and promise and yet the process was not endured because of ritualistic comforts being stripped away.
Life appeared to get hard when I had to consider what I was doing. I didn't find myself standing in gratitude or even a good attitude but actually the opposite. I felt frustration and challenge because all the sudden i had to consider my actions and thoughts and deeds.
IT created conflict with the one person we don't want to be in conflict with, OURSELVES!!
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
I want to be part of Gods plan what ever it cost me in comfort and convenience
I want to be part if it costs me tradition and mindset
I want to be part if it means i don't get my way
Proverbs 28:21 NKJV
“To show partiality is not good, Because for a piece of bread a man will transgress.”
We can’t be so easily moved to wrong attitudes and wrong motives. We must be a people with a solidified attitude of who’s in control. Who’s working on our behalf. Who’s going before us. Who’s fighting for us. Who’s made a way where there seemed to be no way. Who’s made us the head and not the tail. Who’s marked us for his purpose
1) Discontent
If we want to have an attitude of gratitude then we need to check our lens and ask our selfs is this lens being blurred or corrupted?
Is discontent robing you of your gratitude?
2) Victim
If you're always the victim of this life!?What is there to be grateful for?
You are not a victim you are a conqueror!
A victim attitude will rob you of an attitude of gratitude
3) Have you forgotten
Have you become so immune to his spirit and his presence that when your in it…it doesn’t move you?
Two Questions to ask your self this week!
1) How is your lens?
2) Is there a filter on it?
The will, of God for our lives is not so much what we do in action or works, but what we allow to be done inside us. The trap is appearing to follow God, outwardly in order to maintain some form of completeness or satisfaction. Yet we are motivated by greed and selfish actions that don't display godliness.
LOOKING AT LIFE THROUGH THE LENS OF GRATITUDE
1. Stop comparing. Comparison is the thief of Joy.
2. Stop complaining. Complaining causes, you to forget the goodness of God.
3. Give thanks in everything. You live a life of Praise and thanksgiving regardless of what you're facing, regardless of how you feel.
Gratitude is not passive-It's powerful and perspective-shifting!
It's for ALL!
Lazy pursuits have produced powerless believers.
Have you you received it? - HOW DO I KNOW?
1. There is evidence
2. You are being transformed from the inside out
3. There is a fire, a passion inside you
4. You will be lead to do things outside you comfort zone
- your natural man will not lead you to places of sacrifice and testing.
- your natural man will not lead you to places of spiritual conflict and obedience
- your natural man will not lead you to places of self denial and self humility
Enjoy this message by our good friend Pastor Ryan Allen as he shares on the Holy Spirit and how need to be plug into the Holy Spirit for power in our lives!
Where's the Oil?
What was the thing that allowed the lamp to burn, the fire to exist, the light to guide? THE OIL!
Jesus was simply saying my oil, isn't for your lamp.
As your pastor my oil isn't for your lamp, but
should move you to a place of hunger and desire for your own oil.
1. We don't want to wait
- Gods gift comes from surrender and hunger.
2. We don't understand ity think we need it you may excuse its value in your life, but Jesus saw it as necessity
Are you producing or just boring from others?
God isn't looking for a church today that is lacking oil. He's looking for souls on fire with the oil of anointing for the hour at hand!
1) Holy Spirit: Power for purpose
2)Praying His perfect will through us!
3)Faith and confidence will over take the enemy
4) The Holy Spirit heals the broken hearted
Living on Mission
It’s what we carry….
So many are looking for the perfect fit and place in order to function as a "servant" and that is why we aren't seeing moves of God and outpourings of His spirit. No where in scripture do we see men of God picking where they want to be in order to effectively minister the gospel.
To carry the cross in Jesus time, was more about a death processional than a do what's best for you moment.
Where's the elephant
What if laziness is nothing but a habit of thinking about the effort instead of thinking about the outcome?
It will cause a great commotion..
Our world doesn't need more effortless Christians.
Our world needs cross bearers that are passionate and the work of God and His church, burdened for a cause greater than their self comforts and desires.
Living Fruitful Lives
1. Jesus saves us to transforms us into a new person.
That new person reflects a new nature and that new nature produces a new outlook or a new "walk"
2. Our challenge becomes our response to the call to walk worthy of Jesus's sacrifice
3. Regardless of what has influenced your "walk", there is a promise from the Father called the Holy Spirit that comes to redirect what has been deeply rooted in your life
4. When we come to Jesus, we begin to be challenged by His spirit as to who we are and what is being produced in our lives.
