Trigger warning for fictional gun shots is kinda funny
3/5 The concept is amazing! I've recently listened to almost all the episodes. I find the acting and writing is not really as good as it could be however the story is still very interesting. The character development is lacking and the acting doesn't really convey the correct emotions. It's kinda like a kid reading a book aloud. The writing is very basic. There's a lot of repetitive phrasing. It feels a little middleschool level. Ex. Mia tends to deny certain beings, like aliens, with the exact same tone as she did from the beginning. It's like her character doesn't grow at all. Plus her disbelief comes off as fake. The same can be said about the anger from Lucas. It played out like a child throwing an irrational tantrum even though the scenario leading up to it was very valid. That being said, the episodes seem well researched, the drawing of the cryptids is extremely creative. Hopefully, as this continues, the script quality can keep improving.
Lucas reminds me of Nic Silver. Anyone else think so?

Love this podcast but there is no consistent release dates. It's hard to patreon when you don't have a clue when the next pod cast is coming out. There are some with 3 or 4 a month and some with one. Great content though, love the story line.
