Description

Six Pack Cinema is a weekly podcast that breaks down (and sometimes tears apart) Hollywood's latest releases through the eyes of America's average guy. Presented by Half-Glass.com and hosted by it's writers who occasionally take movies more seriously than they take themselves. Sheehan, Jomboy, and DG give a relaxed approach to the historically condescending world of movie reviews. Make some popcorn, see a movie, and smash subscribe to enjoy our nonsense.

This week we're talkin' about Star Wars Rise of Skywalker coming out this week and what we're expecting from it, how fantastic the Mandalorian is, and how much we NEED to see the Cats movie after reading reviews on how bad it is.

This week we're talkin' the brand new whodunit film from Rian Johnson, Knives Out. We're talking murder mysteries, Daniel Craig being incredible at a southern accent, how fantastic Ana De Armas was, plus if we'd recast any of the film.
This week we're talkin' about how the CGI in Irishman is just a gimmick, Mandalorian being incredible still, how much we hate how cute Baby Yoda is, and new trailers.
This week we're talkin' about the Cats movie's outrageous budget and how it's going to bomb, Disney+ somehow didn't kill Netflix after only 9 days of existing, and Sheehan gets duped by a lot of fake news headlines.
This week we're talkin' about Bill Murray coming back to Ghostbusters, Amber Heard still being in Aqua Man after she abused Johnny Depp, and then we dive into Disney+ and give a review of the first episode of The Mandalorian!
This week we're talkin' about the streaming service NBC is putting out and how it's different from every other one so far, a movie about dog handlers in Vietnam is going to star James Dean after his family gave permission for him to be digitally recreated, and Martin Scorsese wrote an op-ed about his opinion on Marvel and the current Hollywood landscape.
This week we're talkin' the Game of Throne showrunners, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss getting fired from their Star Wars trilogy, Joker passed Deadpool as the highest grossing rated-R movie ever and is on it's way to being the most profitable movie ever, HBO wins some streaming rights, and Netflix tested a new feature and the entire entertainment industry started shitting on them.
I have no idea what they talked about this week since unfortunately I couldn't make it. But Sheehan and Jimmy are talking Zombieland 2: Doubletap where I assume they'll discuss the evolution of the zombies and how great the cast is. Just putting in their names here for some good ole SEO. Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, and Bill Murray.
This week we're talkin' Ed Norton defending Netflix and trashing movie theaters, Kevin Feige controls everything Marvel now, Batman Casting news, and Sheehan goes on a Meryl Streep rant.
This week we're talkin' about the latest "superhero" movie - Joker. Plus we also have our original co-host, Jimmy, back for the review. We're talking how the movie started out as a spiritual successor to Taxi Driver, if Joaquin Phoenix is a good Joker, if this should have had a more superhero-y ending, and if the media was right to demonize it ahead of it's release. Hit play to hear our thoughts!
This week we're talkin' Todd Phillips being a dick and not realizing you can still make comedy in 2019, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's costume is for sale and may be our new mascot, everything from the 80s is about to get rebooted, and Sheehan picks a fight with a British podcast.
Talkin' about Laura Dern, Sam Neil, and Jeff Goldblum coming back for Jurassic World 3, Tom Hanks is getting a long deserved award, somehow people are still upset that a Joker movie was made despite not having seen it and the people who have seen it saying it's fantastic. Follow us on twitter and instagram at @sixpackcinema for more movie news/trailers.
This week we're talkin' Kevin Spacey's accurser randomly dying, MoviePass officially dying, and the latest trailers and movies coming out.
