They also discuss episodes 388 and 389 of True Crime Garage (https://www.truecrimegarage.com/home) , which covered the tragic deaths of Liko Kenney and Officer Bruce McKay on May 11, 2007 in Franconia, NH.     https://www.the107degree.com/   Erinn @GRLA_Ontologist   Ethan @ryebreadreturns   Maura Murray Family Official Website mauramurraymissing.org
In this bonus episode, Erinn speaks to Bill Rausch, who was Maura Murray’s boyfriend and stationed at an Army base in Fort Sill, Oklahoma when she disappeared in 2004. The interview was recorded this past January, just after Julie Murray’s interview with the Captain from True Crime Garage (https://truecrimegarage.com/blogs/true-crime-garage/posts/maura-murray-julie-murray-interview) (Episodes 293 and 294).  Bill shares his thoughts about the interview as well as what his experience was like to find out Maura was missing.     Additionally, this past Monday May 4th, on what would have been Maura Murray's 38th birthday, the Murray family launched a new website: mauramurraymissing.org.  The site serves as a tribute to Maura with photos and quotes from the people that knew her best. It is also a resource for anyone hoping to learn more about the case or to pass along tips to the Murray family    Maura Murray Family Official Website mauramurraymissing.org   Erinn on Twitter: @GRLA_Ontologist (https://twitter.com/GRLA_Ontologist)
In this episode, Erinn and Sara talk to Tad DiBiase - a former Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia that became known as “The No Body Guy” after prosecuting DC’s second “no body” homicide case in 2006, and going on to write No Body Homicide Cases: A Practical Guide to Investigating, Prosecuting and Winning Cases When the Victim is Missing. (https://www.amazon.com/No-Body-Homicide-Cases-Investigating-Prosecuting/dp/1482260069) He currently teaches on the topic and consults with law enforcement agencies on best practices for investigating and prosecuting “no body” cases. He’s been featured on a number of podcasts including Payne Lindsey’s, "Up and Vanished."   A special thanks to Sara for setting up the interview with Tad and for all the work she has done (and continues to do) behind the scenes to help find Maura. Thanks to Scott as well for all of his help and for setting up the audio for the interview.   And of course, thanks to Tad for taking the time to answer our questions and sharing his thoughts about Maura’s case. In this episode, Erinn, Ethan, and Scott discuss the nature and origin of some of the conspiracy theories in the case. They highlight what is perhaps the most prominent (and enduring) conspiracy theory, which is that local law enforcement in New Hampshire may have had some involvement in the disappearance of Maura Murray. They also discuss the NH State Police and repeated violations of New Hampshire’s “Right-to-Know” (RSA 91-A) laws – and whether these violations suggest there is a cover-up that is currently on-going.   Official Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/MauraMurray2004/   https://www.the107degree.com/   Erinn @GRLA_Ontologist   Ethan @ryebreadreturns #MauraMurray #JeffWilliams #CecilSmith #HaverhillPoliceDepartment #NewHampshireStatePolice #JefferyStrelzin #TrueCrime #MissingPersons
In this episode, Erinn, Ethan, and Scott review the prominent theories surrounding the question of why Maura Murray left Amherst, MA and drove to New Hampshire on February 9, 2004. They present new information regarding a speeding ticket Maura had received in New Hampshire during the summer of 2003, and a potential connection between that ticket and the reason Maura was in New Hampshire in February of 2004. In the second half of the episode, they are joined by Julie Murray to discuss her perspective on the plausibility of the new theory.   Official Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/MauraMurray2004/   https://www.the107degree.com/   Erinn @GRLA_Ontologist   Ethan @ryebreadreturns
In this episode, Erinn and Scott address the “white noise” and miscellaneous drama that has distracted attention away from finding Maura.
In this episode, Erinn, Ethan, and Scott discuss the second half of the forensic report of the 1996 Saturn that Maura drove from Massachusetts to New Hampshire the day she disappeared. The analysis was conducted in May of 2010.    The topics discussed in this episode include the SDM recorder output and the physical damage to the car. They also discuss several miscellaneous notes in the report regarding the exhaust system, unidentified stains, a missing part, an unidentified part, and notes from an interview of a woman at the Swiftwater Stage Shop conducted by the analyst.  Pictures and diagrams mentioned in the episode will be posted the official Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/MauraMurray2004/   https://www.the107degree.com/   Erinn @GRLA_Ontologist   Ethan @ryebreadreturns
This is a segment of audio with Erinn, Ethan, and Scott that was recorded in late March of 2019 and includes information about a third witness (“Witness C”), as well as well as a discussion about what may have caused the damage to the Saturn. https://www.the107degree.com/   https://www.facebook.com/MauraMurray2004/   Erinn @GRLA_Ontologist   Ethan @ryebreadreturns
In this episode, Erinn and Scott discuss the black box data and corresponding forensic report of the 1996 Saturn that Maura had driven from Massachusetts to New Hampshire the day she disappeared. The analysis was conducted in May of 2010.   The topics discussed in this episode include the seatbelts, the crack in the windshield, the stains inside the vehicle, the headlights, and what the black box says about whether or not Maura would have been able to restart the Saturn after the airbag had deployed.    https://www.the107degree.com/   https://www.facebook.com/MauraMurray2004/   Erinn @GRLA_Ontologist   Ethan @ryebreadreturns   CrimeCon 2019 https://www.crimecon.com/
This is a brief message from Erinn, Scott Wahl, and Julie Murray to announce that they will be attending CrimeCon 2019, which is taking place June 7-9 in New Orleans, LA. For tickets, visit https://www.crimecon.com/home.
In this episode, Erinn and Scott talk to Maura’s sister Julie, her brother Kurtis, and Kurtis’s girlfriend Sara. They discuss the excavation of basement near Maura’s crash site in Haverhill, NH, conducted by the FBI and New Hampshire State Police on April 3rd. Scott runs the Official Maura Murray Public Figure Facebook Page and has been helping the family, and Helena Dwyer Murray, with social media for about 10 years. https://www.facebook.com/MauraMurray2004/ https://www.the107degree.com/
In this episode, Ethan and Erinn discuss “Witness B,” and what she saw when she drove by the scene of Maura’s accident the night she disappeared. They also discuss the Bear Brook podcast, as well as the new lead in the case, and how law enforcement is responding to the evidence (or not responded as the case may be).
In this this episode, Erinn and Ethan look at the nature and origin of several of the rumors and misconceptions that have persisted in the case, including the supposed “affair” with the UMass Men’s track coach. They also look at data from the Bureau of Justice Statistics and use it to discuss some of the common outcomes associated with both missing persons cases and stranger homicides. In the second half of the episode, they discuss the interview that Cecil Smith did for the Oxygen show. The transcript of the interview was obtained via a Right-to-Know request, and is posted on the blog at the107degree.com

I'm a resident of a nearby town to Maura's crash location and I've been by that spot countless times. Never once has she not come to mind as I drive past the yellow ribbon tree and the other memorials that have come and gone over the years. I'm not only still sad, but also angry that this country can put several probes on Mars but can't find Maura. The State of NH pissed away their best chances to find Maura early on and began a practice of stonewalling the Murray's and the private investigators, likely to cover up their bungling ineptitudes.

I'm lost. I'm 10 minutes into what I thought was episode 1 Two BOLOs and have no clue what is going on. Is this not episode 1? Do I need to listen to something else first? Is there any type of intro? What is a BOLO? I was really interested to hear this story but this is horribly put together. Please explain.

I've always thought a cop was involved.. that whole area was searched, houses etc, but no one searched any of the officer's vehicles. of course they didn't think they needed to as there was no reason to. there is a huge cover up. has anyone heard of officer Bruce McKay and his issues with Liko Kenney? that's a connection. just imo.

I've been thinking about this case since Maura's disappearance. I'd like to see someone purchase that house, hire the appropriate forensic investigators and tear the GD basement floor out! If for nothing else but to completely exhaust any chance that Maura's remains are or were there! If I had the means, I would fund it myself! I get the feeling that the cover up by authorities is to hide the ineptitude of some of their personnel and lack of due diligence of some parts of the early investigation. It's like they don't want to solve this because it could open them up to legal action and/or a lawsuit. I have to wonder if that what they find more important. I'm currently a resident in VT and living within about 15 miles of Maura's original crash site. As with most people around here that are familiar with the case, I'm so frustrated!

I hate to say it but they just keep repeating pointless information that is useless in ever finding out what happened to this girl. obsessively and repeatedly going over the same minutia. it's terrible that so many people just up and vanish off the face of the earth every year. mankind is either hopelessly Damaged or there is some sort of (extraterrestrial) Angle [for lack of a better theory]. people get lost and never found. obsessively creating podcast after podcast on ONE of them is kind of disrespectful to the others never mentioned. it's a shame

theres a pack of XTRA gum listed on the list of items from in the car. cellophane is more likely from that than a pack of cigarettes. also, a red light could be from a light that went off on the dash maybe.

if she got pulled over somewhere else and the liquor was confiscated, wouldn't there be a police record of that? and wouldn't they have come forward with that info on highly publicized case?
