Can a logical person REALLY believe in miracles? Frank responds to a challenge from our skeptic friend, Mike, while tackling the big question: Do miracles contradict science and the laws of logic? From science and history to philosophy and faith, we'll explore what God's nature reveals about the probability of divine intervention. Tune in as Frank answers questions like:Is it reasonable to believe in macroevolution? What is the acronym L.I.F.E.?Who else besides Christians question the theory of macroevolution? Why must miracles be rare to be meaningful? What are four ways Jesus demonstrates His divinity? How many miracles do we find in the Bible? In what three time periods do we see the most miracles in the Bible and why?Does God have limitations--or is He truly all-powerful?What's the difference between overpowering and violating the laws of physics? How did Jesus become the central figure of the human race?During the end of the podcast, Frank also addresses concerns regarding the last podcast episode and Josh Howerton's "proof of a propaganda war". Did Josh only get it "half right"? How do you make the case for Christianity? It seems that the burden of proof always falls on Christians, but there are certain aspects of reality that need to be explained regardless of your worldview (even atheism!). The question remains, which worldview fits the story of reality better than the others? In this evergreen podcast episode, Frank breaks down 10 aspects of reality that support the Christian worldview by answering questions like:What is the cosmological argument? How is the universe fine-tuned at three different levels? Why is atheism, not Christianity, at odds with science?Where do the laws of logic come from? Why doesn’t science say anything?Where does objective morality come from? How did Jesus Christ become the most influential person in human history? Why is it essential to not make hasty generalizations about a whole group or worldview from single incidents? What proof is there that you are in a propaganda war right now?In the last part of the program, Frank explains why you can’t make firm conclusions about entire groups with insufficient data, which is especially true about short videos we see online (like ICE arrests). It's been over a decade since the 2015 Obergefell ruling that mandated same-sex marriage on every state and the stats are in. Has redefining marriage strengthened families, or has it quietly harmed the most vulnerable among us? Frank sits down with Katy Faust, founder and president of Them Before Us, to confront the real-world consequences of so-called “gay marriage,” and introduce the brand-new 'Greater Than' movement—a bold effort to return to the natural law and biblical definition of marriage on behalf of children. During their conversation, Frank and Katy answer questions like:What personal experiences growing up make Katy uniquely qualified to talk about this topic? Why was marriage and family such an important issue to Charlie Kirk? What are the 3 institutions that God created and how are they related? Why does the government care about marriage?Who is statistically the most dangerous person in a child’s life? What is the “Cinderella Effect”?Why does Frank believe the term “gay marriage” doesn’t address the real issue? Are all family structures equally beneficial for children? Why are the biological distinctions between mothers and fathers so important to children? What does the data show about biological parents vs. non-biological caregivers? What are the 3 main goals of the 'Greater Than' movement and how can you help?In today’s society, children are often treated like trophies—spoken for, negotiated over, or reshaped to serve adult priorities. 'Greater Than' works from a different premise: children’s rights should not be overridden by adult feelings or desires. As Christians, we all believe that Hell is real. But what is the exact nature of God's eternal punishment? Is Hell eternal conscious torment, or will it ultimately come to an end? This week, Kirk Cameron joins Frank to unpack the controversy that led him to host, 'Hellgate: The Christian Debate We're Afraid to Have', a roundtable discussion featuring biblical scholars Paul Copan, Chris Date, Gavin Ortlund, and Dan Paterson, examining what Scripture actually teaches about eternal punishment, conditionalism, and the justice of God. Frank and Kirk will tackle questions like:What caused Kirk to reconsider the traditional doctrine of eternal conscious torment? How did some prominent Christian leaders react to his comments? What is conditionalism (annihilationism) and how does it compare to the traditional view of Hell? What did the early church fathers believe about Hell?Does conditionalism undermine the Gospel? Is God unjust if he punishes people for all eternity in Hell?Is eternal punishment overkill for temporal sins?Do passages like Matthew 25:46 and Revelation 14 & 20 rule out annihilationism? Is conditionalism heretical or a legitimate orthodox disagreement? How should Christians debate difficult doctrines without fracturing unity within the Church?Has Kirk's position on Hell changed since the roundtable discussion? For more information on this important topic, be sure to watch the full 'Hellgate' discussion on Kirk’s YouTube channel. We hear that technology will set us free and that identity is whatever we choose. What we’re not being told is how these promises unravel reality itself, leaving us restless and confused in a world where we can no longer tell what is true. Embrace the Truth president Abdu Murray returns to the program to continue the discussion about his brand-new book, 'Fake ID', and share practical tips for how we can navigate today's two cultural tsanamis of artificial intelligence and identity ideology. Together, Frank and Abdu answer questions like:What does it mean to say that humans are made in the image of God?Why does humanity collapse when objective truth goes away? Why does increased digital connection make us feel more lonely and depressed? What shocking story did no one talk about in mainstream media and how is it another example of collapsing reality?Should we embrace our "authentic self"?What are some practical tips and tools we can use to navigate the culture we're in right now?Why is the distinction between epistemology and ontology so important? What is the ultimate solution to all of this cultural confusion and chaos? What was the providential encounter that Abdu recently experienced at MIT?Reality doesn't go away just because you stop believing in it! And the reality is, our identity is found in the truth of Jesus Christ and Him alone. You're not just made in His image, but you can actually become a child of God by trusting in Jesus. Why is the biblical (and common sense) purpose of the government to punish wrongdoers being reversed in Minnesota? Federal agents are being blocked from arresting criminals, local officials are shielding criminals from accountability while sweeping massive amounts of fraud under the rug, and anti-ICE agitators are disrupting worship services without any local police response? Who is in the right, legally? Political journalist Megyn Kelly joins the program to expose the legal reality behind the radical activism happening in Minnesota and the growing conflict between the feds and the state. Drawing on her experience as a lawyer, Megyn explains clearly and concisely why sanctuary cities are defying federal authority, and why Americans (especially Christians) can no longer afford to stay silent as Islam quietly gains ground in the West.Together, Frank and Megyn will answer questions like:Why did Megyn become a lawyer and how did she make the shift into political journalism?Does freedom of speech give us the right to protest and disrupt a worship service? What is the FACE Act of 1994?What's the connection between BLM and the church agitators in Minnesota? What will happen to Tim Walz, Jacob Fry, and Don Lemon? Why does ICE face resistance in blue states but not red states? How are sanctuary cities complicating ICE's ability to enforce immigration laws? What is the ultimate endgame of woke activism, according to Megyn?Who has jurisdiction over immigration, the federal or state government? Why is Islamophobia a bogus term? Why should Americans take note of what's happening in the UK?Winston Churchill once said, "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put its pants on." How in the world could a Christian and an atheist have a civil conversation about the current political climate in the West? It's easier than you think! As free speech collapses across Europe and ideological enforcement tightens its grip on the U.S., many are asking, are we truly "free" anymore? This week, Frank is joined by philosopher Dr. Peter Boghossian, author of 'A Manual for Creating Atheists', fresh off their surprise appearance together at the chaotic TPUSA event at UC Berkeley. Together, they examine why civil dialogue is breaking down, why Islam presents a unique challenge to Western civilization, and why the modern left seems incapable of self-correction. In this episode, Frank and Peter tackle questions like:Why did Peter leave his position at Portland State University? Why was Peter invited to the TPUSA event at UC Berkeley? Why has the radical left "gone to crazy town" and seems unable to engage in meaningful dialogue? Why do people who can't form arguments call reason "oppression" and switch to bigotry and discrimination? Why is it so important to have open dialogue with people who may disagree with you?Why does Peter think Islamic immigration is an important topic that needs to be discussed? What work did Peter do with prison inmates and what dangerous mission is he planning next? Why does Peter care about freedom of religion even though he's an atheist? Why does a free society require free speech to survive? Why doesn't Peter publicize his events? Why do facts often fail to change people's minds? Why does Peter call himself a "cultural Christian" even though he's atheist? In a world where people are starving for civil discourse, this light-hearted conversation between Frank and Peter is a breath of fresh air! Are Christian views on marriage and sexuality really “outdated,” or has culture slowly talked us into treating clear biblical teaching as a harmless disagreement? In this midweek podcast episode, Frank and Dr. Robert Gagnon continue their discussion by examining what the Bible actually teaches about homosexuality and why sexual ethics sit at the core of Christian morality. Tune in as they answer questions like:When Jesus showed compassion to tax collectors and sexual sinners was he affirming their sins? What was God's primary purpose for food laws in the Old Testament? Was homosexuality ever an “agree to disagree” issue for Jesus or the Apostle Paul? Why does Paul specifically single out homosexuality instead of other sexual sins in Romans 1?What are the three "new knowledge" questions? What's the underlying problem most people don't realize when it comes to long-term and monogamous same-sex relationships? What about the objection that the word 'homosexuality' wasn't invented until 1946?Should Christians attend same-sex weddings? And how can you refuse without losing relationships? This episode challenges believers to examine who their true authority is and whether love, as Jesus defined it, still guides their convictions. Frank and Dr. Gagnon will also equip listeners with how to respond to today's most common arguments and scriptures that are being misused to justify homosexuality and how to defend the true biblical position on marriage and sexual immorality. Can a biblical case be made to justify the practice of homosexuality? Does science support the narrative that people are "born gay"? And what did Jesus really teach about sexual ethics in light of the Old Testament? In this powerful episode, Frank is joined by Dr. Robert Gagnon, arguably the world’s leading scholarly authority on the topic, to tackle one of the most divisive moral issues of our time. Drawing from Dr. Gagnon’s landmark book, 'The Bible and Homosexual Practice', widely regarded as the standard work on the subject for over 25 years, they examine what Scripture and science reveal about the issue of homosexuality. Tune in as they answer questions like:What was the initial response to Robert's book? How does the Bible define love? What's wrong with "loving" someone of the same sex? What factors influence the likelihood that someone could be attracted to the same sex?If homosexual practices are off limits because of Leviticus 18 what about eating shrimp? What did Jesus say about Old Testament teachings on marriage, divorce, and sex?Does loving someone require affirming all of their desires or behaviors? How do same-sex unions compare to traditional marriage in terms of measurable harm and human flourishing? Why does affirming homosexuality logically open the door to redefining all sexual morality? Why was polygamy sometimes permitted in the Old Testament and is it still ok today? This episode kicks off the new year with a topic that many Christians avoid, but one we can’t afford to ignore as biblical morality continues to be challenged in the public square and the church. Don’t miss the next episode where Frank and Dr. Gagnon continue unpacking the cultural and theological consequences of redefining God’s design for sexuality. If you enjoyed this podcast episode PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY BY SUPPORTING OUR MINISTRY USING THE LINK BELOW. 100% of your donation goes to ministry, 0% to buildings!Resources mentioned during the episode:Donate to CrossExamined - https://donor.crossexamined.org/The Bible and Homosexual Practice: Texts and Hermeneutics - https://a.co/d/3P03zPQWebsite - http://www.robgagnon.net/Follow Dr. Gagnon on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/robert.a.gagnon.56Follow Dr. Gagnon on X - https://x.com/RobertAJGagnon1

Parents should NOT just forgive their kids. There has to be some sort of repentance, and atonement or no lesson is learned. The root word of discipline is disciple, which means to teach...if in your rebuking and reproofing, you're not teaching, then you are failing your children. Likewise, if you just punish, without teaching, you are failing your children. The social fabric is torn to shreds because of parents who don't understand the above.
Great show. Very informative.
Hi, thanks for your faithfulness! Just a note, however, to say I was disappointed with Episode 475 with Dr. Hugh Ross. I found him dismissive of YEC views and I found his characterizations came across as arrogant and belittling. Not to mention his interpretation of Genesis is just convoluted. I think interviewing some PhDs who are YECs is a future must. Plenty are available. Ron Carter, Jonathan Sarfati, John Baumgardner just off the top of my head. 😊
The analogy of the storm and fortress in Dallas doesn't seem to work since they proper word would be "destined" and not "predestined." The analogy doesn't at all explain what predtination is
This was very disappointing.
"Where in the Scriptures does it say that he'll be raised on the third day" is the opening question. I have a question: Where in this podcast episode was that question answered? The guest mentions a bunch of passages that you might call "types," but I don't recall him actually answering the question.
I had to stop 28 minutes into the audio since the guest had said almost nothing in 28 minutes. The total amount of information should have been expressed in less than five minutes. That's why I font like listening to Wallablce, Koukl, and many other apologists.
This show would be better if Mr. Turek weren't nearly yelling in every episode.
Turek doesn't see that Israel has become like the Nazis. They went from being oppressed in Europe to oppressing the Palestinians. Europe was the one oppressing the Jews. But the Palestinians paid the price. Israel has been killing innocent civilians since 1948 where they illegally immigrated to British Mandated Palestine. Turek is always saying he doesn't like illegal immigration, but he likes the Jews illegally immigrating to Palestine in 1948. And the Jewish Messiah is not our Messiah.
Listen to The Martyrmade podcast on Israel/Palestine. He goes into detail. It's 25 hours over 6 episodes. Turek never mentions the Zionists militias, the Irgun, the Hagana, the Stern gang who committed massacres against the Palestinians. He doesn't mention Ben Gurion, the first Israeli Prime Minister of Israel saying he would never make terms with Israel if he was an Arab, because Israel has stolen their land. He doesn't mention that other countries and the USA wouldn't take in Jewish refugees.
my only caution comes from reading Erwin W. Lutzer's book, "No Reason to Hide" where he quotes Putin who said, "Artificial Intelligence is the future, not only for Russia, but for all humankind. Whoever becomes the leader in this sphere will become the ruler of the world" And sadly, as a retired Art educator and artist, I know one literary author and artists whose careers are being destroyed from other's use of AI...and the general unsuspecting public that cannot as yet differentiate.
Please help me understand. Where in the Bible does it say we are made in the image of God? Reading comprension is key to understanding the Bibe. God made Adam in the image of Himself. Then He made Eve out of Adam's rib. And as anyone knows, a copy of a copy is not the same. I digress. But anyways, Adam in the garden of Eden was in his perfect adult form, meaning he was created a fully formed adult and he didn't age because he ate from the tree of life. I submit that Adam inside the garden was a very different type of person, than he was when he was tossed out of the garden of Eden. And we are all children of the "tossed out of Eden" Adam and Eve, or rather children of Noah's family. Based on this summation, we cannot be made in the image of God, for only Adam was, and possibly Eve. People flee from the Bible for many reasons. But one of those reasons is because they see an inbred 600 pound bucktooth type person and they think the Bible must be a lie because that's definitely not the im
Frank, I would strongly recommend you reevaluate Dickinson as a guest. He recently hosted a show with a transsexual friendly tone. If this is something you support then I have to stop recommending your podcast as well.
No kid, regardless of age, should be taught about gender identity, etc.
This comment is on Dan Kimball's response to the question why don't Christians have to keep the OT law. He gives the classic supersessionist answer that posits that Jesus abolished parts of the Torah. This contradicts Jesus plain statement that He did not come to abolish but to fulfill. (It makes no sense to claim that fulfill actually means the same thing as abolish.) The point Dan also makes that you have to ask to whom a command was given to determine if it applies to you IS the answer. All Jews are still in covenant with God and covenant fidelity requires them to keep the dietary laws and other OT laws WHEN APPLICABLE. Now, any law given only to abbly when living in the Land of Promise would not apply to diaspora Jews (at least not directly,) and any law requiring a functioning Temple would also not apply unless and until the Temple is rebuilt. As for Gentile believers, we may derive valuable principles from Torah laws we are not directly obligated to observe but we do have more fr
