This week Lou and Jeff instantly regret giving Yag his own mic, discuss the Jeff Bezos badass response to the National Enquirer, and debate the merits of the Knicks trading Kristaps Porzingis. They also introduce some of their new ventures and an interesting upcoming podcast they are helping with.
Lou, Jeff, and Yag get into the disaster that was the Fyre Festival (and Ja Rule) after watching both Fyre documentaries, a baseball debate between Jeff and Lou hilariously heads off the rails, and the guys FINALLY discuss their 5 favorite hip hop albums of all time. All that and some Super Bowl picks too!
Lou, Jeff, and Yag start things off talking about "Surviving R.Kelly", a little NFL, and Lou's excessive liking on Twitter until thing's take a crazy turn when Brad, an old friend of the guys, accidentally stops by and vents on the pitfalls of dating in the Tinder age!
This week comedian Stacey Prussman and her 'The Prussman Hour" co-host Angela Riley stop by the newly minted POD Studios for an hour of laughs.
Dani Faith Leonard comes on the show for a record 4TH TIME!!!! She talks about what may be her last show at Caveat when Adult Sex Ed Returns on 2/15, moving on from Big Vision Empty Wallet, her upcoming film "Coast", and what she would like to do next (besides come on our show a fifth time)! All that and some reminiscing on periods and 90201!
This week Lou is solo again, but has another great guest, as Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Jim Rugg joins the show to talk about one of Lou's long time loves...COMIC BOOKS! Jim talks about how his own love of comics lead him to a career as a cartoonist, the comic books he's created like The Plain Janes and Street Angel, and his upcoming Marvel project "Hulk: Grand Design", where he gets to put his take on the entire original Incredible Hulk Comic run! Of course, we will also talk about Wizard magazine, The Comics Journal, what it's like collecting comics today, and of course, the incredibly popular Youtube channel he is on with his pal, cartoonist Ed Piskor called "Cartoonist Kayfabe". All that, and the boss move he and Ed pulled on comic legend Todd McFarlane (to his credit Jim doesn't know what I'm talking about here).
This week Lou is flying solo, but with a guest this big, there is no room for Jeff and Wiltshire! Adult film star and comedian Silvia Saige joins the show to discuss her life in porn and stand-up, and how they have gone hand and hand since day one for her. She also discusses her show "Sexy, Funny, Raw", how Only Fans has changed the game for the adult industry, where she doesn't want you to cum, and if she's ever turned down doing an adult film based on the script. Plus, find out the weird questions she gets asked regularly and who big timed her in The Laugh Factory green room! It's a huge episode, and a must Listen! Ep. 75, Return of the Macks

Ep. 75, Return of the Macks

2021-12-2401:05:05

It's our first episode since January, and the guys return with updates and laughs. No Yag, so that means plenty of jokes are thrown his way while he can't defend himself. Plus we will talk a little Zion, Logan/Jake Paul, and DS's new Miami adventures. Welcome us back and listen !
This week the guys are joined by comedians Chris Calogero and Emily Winter. They talk about what it's like to be married to each other and comedy, how their careers changed due to the pandemic, Twitter videos, weight watchers, and the classic Italian sauce/gravy debate. All that and Wiltshire's old work twitter account that was chock full of awfully boring tweets gets a retweet from Chris. Its a barrel of laughs this week with this very funny couple.
In an impromptu episode, Lou and Jeff talk to their friend Kevin Wilson of The drinking Liberally Podcast about the events at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. on Wednesday January 6th. The guys try to make sense of it all, and just have an open discussion about the state of the nation as the country prepares for Joe Biden to take office.
The NBA season has begun and for the first time in a long time, it's an exciting era for the Knicks. Knicks Twitter has been a fun place, so who better to talk about the Knicks with the woman I have dubbed "The Queen of Knicks Twitter", Erin R. We talk about what we expected going into the season, the first week, and what we want to see in this upcoming week...and of course, we talk about Erin's guy "Thibs!"
Jeff is back joining Lou and it's a midwest love fest as the guys are joined by Cleveland's own Samantha Bunten of NBC Sports. As a lifelong Indians fan (and current consultant to the team), Samantha talks about the team's name change process, and some ideas about good names going forward that have nothing to do with Spiders. We also talk about the early days of Bleacher Report, Manny Ramirez, and how Albert Belle is misunderstood.
Get your sneaker game up this week as Lou and Yag talk to the creator of Lou's new favorite sneaker channel on YouTube, Chris "Nightwing" Chase. The guys talk what's it's like to be a "sneaker head".  Chris will also discuss his 10 year journey that took Weatesters from grainy-cell phone videos on Youtube, to arguably the best Sneaker website/Youtube channel around. We also give a shoutout to Chris's wife Jodi (aka "Mrs. Wing"), and the role she plays behind the camera, and how they were able to turn Weartesters into a truly family-owned business. All that and lots and lots of Air Jordan love. Fresh off our monumental "Trump" interview, we get to talk to the man behind the best Trump impressions around, comedian J-L Cauvin. We talk about his post-Trump plans, the current state of comedy, and being compared to Sarah Cooper. He also gives us a sneak peak at his new Dave Chappelle-inspired comedy video. It's hilarious, so make sure you check it out here: https://youtu.be/D6PNbXhj5rM This is a must listen for comedy fans!
In a huge shocker, the 45th President of the United States talks to the American people through the Lou Cappetta Show! This is a must listen as Trump publicly talks in a rare interview since losing the election to Joe Biden. (Of course this is not real, Trump voice performed by comedian J-L Cauvin.) Check out Trump's podcast "Making Podcasts Great Again".
Donald Trump is trying to destroy the country and your guys Lou, Jeff, and Wiltshire are here to help you though it, with a little help from our new friend, political  democratic strategist Jessica DeLoach. We try to sort out the conspiracy theories surrounding this past election, what a crazy place Parler is, and, of course, Donald Trump. This is another fun episode, chock full of terrific information as well. Don't worry, we got your back...I mean it's not like we could be any worse than OAN.
This week, Lou's favorite author Jeff Pearlman makes his third appearance on the show. He talks about his new book about the Kobe/Shaq/Phil Laker years, "Three Ring Circus". He'll tell some interesting stories from the book, the reaction to the book post-Kobe Bryant's tragic death, and the book he's currently working on. Wiltshire also gets called out for his fake Skype background, and the two paint swatches his true background reveals. It's a fun episode, and a must listen for any hoops fan.
It's been a minute but we are back with an episode we recorded at the end of summer. Our guest, Joh D. Contradiction is an MC/Producer out of New York. He also his the host/creator of the hip hop review podcast/website "Not Ya Manz". We talk all things hip hop, including the good review he gave of Lou's summer mixtape "Things left unsaid". Plus they talk about Lou getting called out by some young MC "Lil Nut". Welcome back!
This week the guys are joined by comedian Chrissie Mayr. She talks about her new podcast 'The Chrissie Mayr Podcast", he Compound Media show The Wet Spot, and what's it like when your boobs have their own social media accounts, and you don't run them. We also delve into what the hell is up with Chad Zumock, going down a conspiracy theory rabbit hole, and, of course, Lenny Dykstra.
This week, our new friend Dr. Lovejoy returns as a guest co-host, and brings her friend King Lexa to be our guest. She's a bad ass Fin-Dom who financially dominates her "minions". This episode turns into a nsfw laugh riot as King Lexa describes in great detail what things like ball busting and cock pigs are. We also talk about her journey through her career, and her charity "Bigger than Sex" that she's working on in partnership with The Cupcake Girls. This may be our most fascinating episode yet.
