Just wanted to give a few words of encouragement today because life gets busy and the pressure is real. During those times, we must realize that we need fuel for our life so that we can have the light we need to navigate our journey. There's a quote that says " An empty lantern provides no light. Self-Care is the fuel that allows our light to shine brightly. " Take the time to refuel so that your light can shine brightly in your most busiest time. 

Learning without reflection is a waste but reflection without learning is dangerous. Reflection is looking back so that the view looking forward is even clearer.  Today, we are breaking down one of the questions last week to give you practical application on how to be honest in your reflections. We must take the time to get a clearer vision for our lives. Life is only a reflection of what we allow ourselves to see. So take the time to reflect on your life and make the necessary adjustments to move your life forward.

You cannot serve from an empty vessel. Rest and self care are so important. When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve other from the overflow. The enemy will do everything he can to discourage you and disillusion you from unleashing the power of a passionate life. This is why Bible encourages us not to be ignorant of the enemy’s devices. And one of those devices is busyness. From work to social media to church to family to friends to maintaining your home, I’ve heard it said that if the enemy can’t stop a person from moving forward, he’ll just try to push them to move forward too fast. We can even get so busy doing work for God that we lose sight of God in the midst of it! Don't be fooled by the enemy devices. Take time to rest and reflect so that your heart can be inspired with hope to look to the future. Hope you tune in to the podcast to hear what i did during my rest and reflection time.

A great frienship is irreplaceable. It can inspire you to grow into a better version of yourself. If you have a friend who motivates you return the favor and be their number one cheerleader. Don't make freinds who are comfortable to be with. Make friends who will force you to level yourself up.  

You are created to be connected and in relationship with others. You have an unique purpose and your purpose requires other people to help you live it out. This month,  we are talking about the people you need on your journey and those you get to select to journey with you. We are talking about your friends. If you have a hard time making friends or you have mistrust of women friendship, I hope you would join us as we explore friendship.

Let's talk about how we are going to be different in the New Year and because today is my birthday, we will talk a little about that.  So grab your coffee, tea or water and lets chat.

Today we are encouraging our Single Mother to do somehting differenct. If you're stuck this holiday season, we're encouraging you to do something different. We realize that you have a lot on your plate but it's time to change things up and do something different. 

We're challenging you this week to find something every day to be thankful for. It doesn't have to be something big or spectatluar. Take the time to be thankful for the little things that happens in our everyday life. If you're feeling a little down, try opening up your heart to give  someone else  something. I promise you that you will receive so much more than what you gave.. Try it and see!!    

Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgiving turn routine joys into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings. Gratitude helps us to see what is there instead of what isn't. A moment of Gratitude makes a difference in your attitude. Be present in all things and thankful for all things this Thanksgiving. 

Sometimes the hardest people to be thankful for is your family. This Thanksgiving go out of your way to gather your family. Be the one that takes the first step to build a lasting relationship. Show your graditute even in the small things.
