Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., 22 years after he was stoned there on 71st Street; bringing Open Housing to Chicago.  Mamadee conceived the idea, wrote the Ordinance and lobbied for 3-1/2 years to resurrect the Legacy of Emmett Louis Till that was buried for 30 years, by naming 71st Street Emmett Till Road (in Chicago, Illinois) after him to teach tolerance and Children’s History.
