Brea Grant is an actor, writer and director. She also podcasts and writes comic books - yea, she's our new model of how to be awesome. You've seen her on shows such as Dexter, Heroes, Friday Night Lights and Eastsiders - which she is now also credited as writer and director on - and currently runs on Netflix. In 2019, Brea filmed back to back (with a 3 week break in between) features that she wrote; she also starred in one, LUCKY, a SXSW Official Selection, and directed the other, 12 HOUR SHIFT, a TriBeCa Official Selection. Both fests were ultimately moved to digital as Covid-19 spread around the country. However, this achievement is still hella AMAZING, and although Brea and her teams were not able to screen their films the way they originally envisioned - these films are worth marking on your to-do-view list.
