Here I explain a video I posted where I first started developing my de la Riva. Then I saw Geo Martinez hit it well in competition and committed to becoming skillful with it.
This is just a short explanation of loving the hard things in life. Enjoy
Here I talk about what it's like to help people start their marital arts journey and what it feels like to be the sole coach of new white belts.
Here I explain my post for the 3rd day of the martial arts challenge which was about my training partner Sam and how he gave me plenty of rounds to work all my new techniques I have been drilling.
Here I talk about how I performed one day at a high school wrestling tournament and how I won in both messy and technical fashions as well as give people a narration/example of funk wrestling using the post I made on day 2 of the martial arts challenge.
Here I explain my first post of the #martialartschallenge and go on to talk about the pressures of competing as a coach and competing after a loss.
My experience with Carlos Gracie Jr. Brazilian JiuJitsu Black Belt Professor Eduardo Delima over 2 days and 3 classes. Soaked up a lot of knowledge and found a love for the Gi again.

Listen to YOUR BODY!!!

I learned the hard way that over training sucks and leads to injuries that are sever and will keep you off the mats longer then a rest day will. Listen to your body and rest when it needs it.
Don't lie to yourself about your training. Track your sessions and keep yourself honest.

My Journey from a white belt helping a few times a week with 4&5 year olds to full time coach and starting a career of my own in the World that I love, JiuJitsu.
Why Drilling is essential and why you should focus on it over grappling.
How I became obsessed and committed to drilling various 10th Planet techniques and what it did to my mind. Even as a man only a year and a half out of spinal surgery I can use techniques like The truck, Lockdown, and Rubber Guard. I truly believe you can make anything work through patience and reps.
Wrestling is the best base of all marital arts in my opinion because of the mental strength it takes to cut weight and train harder then you ever imagined week in and week out. Listen to hear how these dots can be connected and used to excel in other martial arts by tearing down the ego it can build.
