This is a concerning snapshot of the world in 2026. The deepening inequality is particularly worrying, as it seems to exacerbate other issues like the rise in domicide. It reminds me of what my Granny always used to say: "A rising tide should lift all boats, not just the yachts." Hopefully, the UN can find effective strategies to address these complex, interconnected problems. Tedros's warning about obesity also needs urgent attention; preventative measures are crucial. https://grannyhorror.io

@1:59 who are the armed individuals pilfering food deliveries allocated for the kids? You didn't say. Are there descriptions? This action is despicable. I've heard that hamas has been offering relief supplies similar to those stolen, for sale to starving individuals. Any truth to this?
You think female suffering is bad in Afghanistan, just wait until they can't #EscapeFromNewYork.
@0:45 are we somehow expected to believe this? Given your organisations conflicted entanglements and all it seems suspect?
Seemed like there was a little more context in some of the reads. Hard to do with time constraints. Thanks!
Agree that it is horrendous that aid workers are attacked, and this should never be. Problem is there are many partisans and enemy combatants allowed, or possibly encouraged, to hide among aid workers. Particularly within this particular 'aid' organisation. This too is horrendous and should never be.
The UN is very big and has a really huge budget that must perpetuate to feed their continued existence. In order to be successful in this actual objective, the UN must appear to struggle grasping at their always ever so slightly just out of reach publicly stated goals. The UN behemoth bureaucracy employs vast quantities of personnel. Those staffers depend on the beast feeding them. but would always like more. More compensation, more colleagues to do their work, more power to exercise over the
Believe everything the hamas embeds within UNRWA tell you. I do?
There's some folks in positions of responsibility around the world that don't even know what a woman is. Sad!
Seems like the terrorist leaders in the tunnels are getting their fill. Perhaps they would share with the citizens that voted them into power.
A warning for folks NOT to vote for a knowingly corrupt gubmit leadership who has not only the propensity, but seemingly the desire, or at least lack of concern, to utilize you as a human shield to protect their military assets...
This "newz" podcast reminds me so much of the stereotypical misinformation scripted propaganda "newz" presentation scene characterized by some of the best movie depictions of a news presentation in a dystopian future. Thanks!
what is the use of united nations. Stop genocide in Gaza by occupiers
Seems like hamas might have more interest in killing Jews than aiding the folks that elected them? amirite?

Worrying about carbon emissions is as ridiculous as AI is artificial. So if championing the illusory monster of carbon emissions reduces the expansion of humankind enslaving machine faked intelligence, count me in.
