In which we revisit the celebrated return of the Webhead, still under the stewardship of one Sam Raimi. And we find our happy memories of seeing might not match up with our current viewings. From the relentless sad sack opening, to the mystery of Ursula, the wisdom of giving a Fortune 500 company to a high school graduate to how no one seems to think biomechanical limbs are all that impressive, we'll discuss it all as we revisit Spider-Man 2 from 2004 as our Fall Of The Spider series continues.

The Fall Of The Spider begins with our discussion of SPIDER-MAN from 2002! Let's go back, way back before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was even a dream of a dream, back when Kevin Feige was still a personal assistant working with Richard Donner on the X-Men movies and Robert Downey Jr was...not in a good place. Yes, it's time we take a look at Sam Raimi's classic film SPIDER-MAN. We discuss why it took until the year 2000 to get a Spidey movie off the ground, what holds up and what didn't age well, and get into some deep background on the Spider-Man lore. From organic web shooters to kissing in the rain, we discuss it all (except Macy Gray) in this first part of our new mini-series-within-the-series.

It's time for more Marvel news, reviews and wild speculations! In this episode, we discuss the continuing fallout over custody of our poor Peter Parker, a way for anyone to read comics online for free (legally!) and discuss some wild ideas about who should play Moon Knight and Magneto. All this, plus can Deadpool work in a PG-13 MCU context? We'll talk about it all.

In which we discuss all the crazy new Marvel news that was revealed at Disney's D23 Expo. We'll get into the sneak peeks at Black Widow and Eternals, discuss the madness that lies at the heart of WandaVision, get in-depth about the game changing nature of Disney Plus and wildly speculate about what those three new series will bring to the MCU. All this, plus plenty of asides about topics like the writing of Mark Waid and the strange history of John Walker.  It's late, but it's still good.

 In January of 2018, the members of Legible Scrawl came up with a mad plan: watch a Marvel movie a week leading up to INFINITY WAR and put out a podcast about each one. And we did it! But little did we know the story wouldn't be completed until the ENDGAME. Originally aired on the LEGIBLE SCRAWL SAYS HI podcast feed, here are all those episodes, and all the new ones, taking us through the Avengers' toughest hours! 

 We've come to the end of a phase, and there's so much to talk about. We discuss Marvel life after Spider-Man: Far From Home, check in on how close the Avengers are to conquering Avatar, discuss Marvel in the theme parks (including a little history on Islands of Adventure) and more.
